first let me give you some background here.... i do tech support for a company that is essentially outsourced IT for smaller colleges across the US. we have techs that come in as contractors and some are retained, while others are not. well as you would guess at the beginning of each semester business is booming of course and we need extra people. one of those people was a young brunette that while out one night drinking with co-workers (since she wasn't on my shift)and i discovered that she had gorgeous feet and toes. well she was one that didn't make the initial cut and since she was not on my shift i never got to tell her what i thought about her feet and i always got the impression that she was cool enough to tell. well the day i saw her leave i told myself that if i ever saw her again i would tell her immediately what i thought about her feet. well this was back in august....fast forward to a week and a half ago and she was brought back in. well obviously i was beyond thrilled. so she walks by my desk and i stop her and i tell her my usual line of "this may be the oddest compliment you've ever received but i'm going to tell you anyway....as a man into such things you have got some very pretty feet!" of course she was a bit amused at first and caught off guard but she was totally cool with it. now that day she was not wearing anything open toed but still it was just nice to tell her. now fast forward to today....i'm sitting at my desk and in she walks wearing some strappy heels and she walks right up to my desk and stops and poses her feet and says "what do you think? i decided to paint them teal!" i'm usually pretty coll about things but in this case i was left totally speechless. we've been chatting a bit about it over IM thru the day so far.
i'm at lunch typing this in on my PDA so i'' update this when i get back from lunch!

Very nice. I've been fortunate enough to have more than a few cool female coworkers over the years, too, and when they learn about my appreciation of pretty feet and sexy heels, most of them have gone out of the their way to show off. I love what I see, they love the attention, and everybody wins.
That was a great line you used to bring up the subject. I've used similar lines myself. The fact that you've been chatting over IM throughout the day is a very good sign. Keep up whatever it is you're doing! And let us know how it proceeds!

i try to make it as silly and non-threatening as i possibly can, while conveying that even as weird or silly or odd or whatever as it sounds, i still feel compelled to tell them i think they have pretty feet. but of course a lot of it is observation and body language. you may not be taking pics of them after telling them but they will know and as long as you aren't creepy about it i almost always get a good reaction.

well just to let you guys know the latest, we had a slight "cold" snap down here and she wore some super hot boots the next day. on friday she wore some hot little mary janes and there was so much hot toe cleavage and arches i about lost it. she of course stopped by my desk to pose them for me. the best part was when i had to assist another co-worker near her desk. While i was standing and talking to the guy, she, while on the phone with a customer, pushes her chair back away from her desk so she can turn her body more to the side. she slips off her right shoe and and crosses her leg so i can get a direct look at her bare foot. so she sat there on shoe on and one off showing me those peds and i was needless to say, distracted. after that i walked over to her desk and she gave me a smile and i took my foot and put it under her foot and kinda pressed it under her toes to spread them. i gave her a wink and a fist bump and went back to my desk a very happy man.

Good story and nice pics (especially that second one).
I have complimented women at work about their shoes/feet, but only after really getting to know them for a while. You have to make sure that they are cool with it before you make that plunge.
The one that drives me crazy recently is my Vice President customer/dotted line boss. She wears some incredible heels and is very fit & good looking. My eyes lit up the day I saw some magnet on her desk about women buying shoes. I asked her about it and she said her friend gave it to her because she has such a love for shoes. That's about as far as the conversation goes since we're both fairly high up the work food chain (she obviously a little higher). The other day she wore these 5" peep-toe platform pumps with a zipper design that was as powerful a shoe could be. I wanted to die, but can't say anything. Too much to lose.
