Kind of a weird question, but just out of curiousity...After a gorgeous celebrity passes away (Britany Murphy, Aaliyah, etc) can you still get off to their feet? I guess its a mental thing or something, but I can't do it. I guess I feel it's kind of disrepectful or something.

I've had the feet of women in real life (not stars, like you mentioned) who are no longer alive, and yes, I could still get off to the memory of their feet.

I have a VERY hard time getting off based on a memory but I have no imagination. I need to actually hear and see stuff to get off, thus my love of porn.

It's a really good question, Dude00284, and one that we've wrestled with here before. For myself, it's kind of difficult to really get into it, but to each his own.

Here's a personal case: I'm a fan of classic porn (roughly 1980-95) and one of my favorite stars is Erica Boyer, who died in a traffic accident earlier this year. She also happens to be in three of my all-time-favorite, mainstream-porn (non-fetish) foot scenes. Now, I've watched and, um, "enjoyed" those scenes once or twice since hearing the sad news, but it's definitely not the same.

I suspect that somewhere in the back of our minds, when we're "enjoying" our favorite stars, the experience is heightened when we think there's a chance, as small as it may be, that we might actually someday "enjoy" them in real life. Yet when we know they're no longer with us, we conclude that the fantasy can never become reality, and it becomes official that the girl on the screen who seems so real -- and so obtainable -- can be nothing more to us than a two-dimensional image.

(Wow ... this turned a hell of a lot more psychological than I intended when I first started writing it. [Smile] )

Cheers,
DL

Wow - I totally missed the point of the original question.

I would have no problem getting off to a woman who has passed, so long as I have pictures or videos. It really makes no difference to me.

I don't see why it would be fine before they passed and not fine after. What is the difference aside from perceptions like those expressed by Dick. I can understand that, but I do not understand why it would be considered disrespectful.

Why do you feel that way? What in their passing makes it disrespectful now, versus prior to their passing?

i have thought about this too with Aaliyah & Left Eye.It really does seem disrespectful.Aaliyah was hot

What is disrespectful about it? I don't get it. [Roll Eyes]

So it is OK - to wank off when to their feet when they were alive, but it becomes disrespectful now that they have passed?

You respect the dead no matter what the situation. It's just like when someone bad mouths someone who has passed, that is disrespectful.

interesting question. it seems to me that it does depend on whether you knew the person yourself. a celebrity passing doesnt feel the same to me as some you actually know. i mean brittany murphy passing was a sad event, but its not an event that truly impacted my life and i felt no sense of personal loss. if an ex-gf or someone i knew personally died, i do believe it would feel really creepy to still fantasize about them.

i do agree with mmmmtoes tho, i dont think its disrepectful. i dont understand this whole 'respect the dead' thing. so once someone dies, all their sins are forgiven and they become something more than human? just because they are gone doesnt mean they were any more or any less than when they were alive. i would still call a bastard a bastard if he were to die. hitler is still one of the biggest assholes in history and he's dead.

It is nothing like bad mouthing someone that has passed. You don't jerk off in public do you? I kind of agree with nusuth about the respect the dead thing. So once someone dies they immediately 'earn your respect'? Eh...

Respect, to me, is earned and the act of dying in itself is not a way to earn my respect.

If it was not disrespectful to jerk off to them while alive, what makes it disrespectful now that they are dead. You did not answer that question.

The act of jerking off (in the privacy of your own home) is not disrespectful. If that were the case then just about every one of is disrespects women on a regular basis.

Nothing in that act changes once a person has passed. So where does this notion of disrespect com into play?

I understand the psychological impact as described by Dick or nusuth. But I just don't get this idea that thinking sexually about someone that passed is disrespectful.

A few people have basically said ...:

If it was not disrespectful to jerk off to them while alive, what makes it disrespectful now that they are dead?

An excellent rhetorical question. And a damned good point.

While acknowledging certain cultures have specific spiritual notions and beliefs about the dead, I don't see this as disrespectful at all. A mite creepy, perhaps, but we all process these things in our own ways.

You probably could make a better argument that it's more disrespectful to jerk off with lascivious thoughts about someone who's alive than to images of someone who's slipped off this mortal coil. After all, you're using a real, sentient person to stoke your masturbatory fires. But once they've gone and joined the great heavenly choir, who's left to be offended? It's no different than jacking off to Mona Lisa. (If you have an oil-on-canvas fetish, of course.)

To be clear, I don't buy into this argument, but I think you could make a very good case for it if you believe in karma, cosmic retribution or answering for your sins when you arrive at the Pearly Gates.

For most of us, "disrespect" deals with inflicting some kind of damage to reputation, feelings or property. So who are you hurting by looking at something while you wax your carrot, anyway? No one.

It's not a matter of respect, it's a matter of how you deal with the concept of death.

Cheers,
DL

I kind of sway towards the side that I would not indulge in looking at someone that is dead. I used to have a thing for Anna Nicole when she was younger and now that she is dead I don't think I would be interested in seeing her in that way. But I do understand both sides of it, I just think it's a little creepy, but I don't neccessarily think if someone has no problem with it that they are creepy, just for me it is.

She was photographed barefooted quite a lot. I think she liked to be barefooted!

You've heard the legend that she was born with six toes on each foot, right?

P.S. -- No, I'm not kidding. It has been debunked, but the rumor has persisted for 40 years.
