I had a Youtube account where I had about 500 feet videos in my favorites, I usually add a video to my favorites as soon as I find out it's a foot video regardless of content.

I noticed that the highest # of views, highest # of comments and the highest # of favorited (thus, the most popular) were the videos that had the following elements:
Mistress/slave scenarios, dommes showing her soles while talking shit (ie lick my feet bitch, etc), humiliation scenes, forced foot worship, etc.

This also applies to foot fetish tube...

However, in these forums, I notice 95% of people here say they are repulsed by the whole mistress/slave thing.

My theory has always been that most foot fetishists are submissive, while many are ashamed of it, so they resort to saying they're not.

So here's some options:
1- Wu attracts foot fetishists that aren't too extreme in the foot humiliation scene.
2- Many people who post here regularly feel that they have a reputation to maintain, so they don't admit their desires.
3- These videos are just watched as a fantasy but they would never act that submissive in real life.
4,5,6- ???

But anyway, I'd imagine that a good portion of those viewers are also teenagers, who perhaps may be more into the femdom aspect of this. Or maybe there ARE a lot of those guys here, but are just lurkers, and therefore won't speak up on this, and makes it seem like there are a lot less people into femdom than there is.

I have to disagree. I think most of the foot fetishist at Wu's are the exact opposite of the type who are submissive. It is simply that BDSM is actually a much more prevalent fetish when it comes to hardcore followers, because since females also have dom/sub fetishes, those communities in general are more active in the same way that a dating site might be. I have been on a few sites which were communities for mainly BDSM, and the foot fetishists there are not at all like what you find here. They are powered by the submission, not the raw attraction to feet. I am pretty much completely confident that the members here who say they don't understand the sumbmission aspect are completely genuine. It really is the difference between a foot fetish and a submission fetish. Go hang out on a site like fetlife or similar and you will see what I mean. Those members usually aren't here and vice versa, and the members here who might be members of those communities are probably looking for the rare foot fetish experience not connected to any BDSM scenarios.

If you read BestFetish's thread about parts of the fetish people can't understand (and you should have, since you posted in it ), you'll notice that a lot of members here don't understand the trampling, femdom, and whatnot. So I have to agree with Mona there.

I think some "feet only" videos are guys posing as girls. It's happened before on foot only websites back in the day too. Probably still does today. Part of the reason why I require the girls show themselves on my site.

Point 3 seems more likely in my mind - I like a whole mess of weird shit that I would never consider acting out.

Honestly I'm not into the submissive thing. I think it's hard to judge how many foot guys are, but I imagine it wouldn't be far from 50/50. And really I have no need to maintain a 'reputation' on the anonymity of the internet. It's just something that varies I think, like some guys like nylons, some don't, some like heels some like flats, some like only freshly washed feet, some like very smelly feet. Hmmm...no, I reject your findings. It seems like EVERYONE HERE is into the dom aspect of foot fetishes. I think I'm one of a handful of people who are not. You could probably count the ones who are not into it on one hand and have a few fingers left over. Even a cursory look at the front page of the Feet Pictures page shows this.

Not sure where you're getting that its the opposite when just a glance will tell you it is not.
