Its weird, some videos can be viewed, but if you start searching into older videos it will ask you to sign in and stuff and say if you want to be able to watch every single video on the site then you must pay 29.99 a month, which is outrageous for some of the amateur shit thats gets uploaded there.

I doubt the site lasts long. I uploaded some girl/girl scenes to help out because I was becoming disappointed with all the crappy videos uploaded there. Still, people seem to be flocking away; uploads are nowhere near as frequent or good as they used to be, and this move will kill things even further. Shame, as it was probably the best foot fetish site around.

Older vids don't work. Try watching something from a month ago. If you know how to download from streaming sites, it's not that big a deal, but this sucks mainly because all the best uploaders will leave (if they haven't left already).

If they have indeed gone to a pay site, wouldnt the decrease in uploads be due to when said site is going to charge others to view it, and you get nothing, your better off just not uploading?
I have posted my wifes pics a few times on here, but I wouldnt do so if Wu was charging people to have access to them and I get nothing. I dont want or expect money. If I did, I would open a clip store. But I'll be damned if someone other than I makes money off of it.
Unless FFT is sending some $$$ towards the people who upload vids, but that seems unlikely!

In regards to JZ Wand, if they have paysite clips, and the owners are not aware of this, it's illegal and will be shut down anyways, but by the authorities.
If you have clips up there that are being used without permission, again... illegal.
I just glanced through it and if they are legit, then great. I am sure that they have went through the legal aspects of this to even change the business model from free to pay.

I really don't think there's any way that charging a member fee for that site that has nothing but material that is donated will work long term... The economics don't make any sense.
It's very simple.... Pretty much all of the content is generated and provided by its members. Some for voyueristic reasons but most are trying to drive traffic to their wesbite or clipstore.
If the footfetishtube starts to charge people to see material that theoretically isn't theirs (it's dontated) traffic will no doubt decline... The average person in today's economy simply won't pay $29.95 a month.
As the traffic steadily declines the website owners will get less and less hits to their sites that were generated from footfetishtube.
As they see less and less hits to their sites they will gradually stop posting new sample clips as often or perhaps stop all together.
Ultimately when there is no steady influx of new material there will be less renewals and members.
There is a chance however that due to enormous amount of material the site may be able to entice potential members to fork out the cash for 2-3 months though.
Footfetishtube has had a nice long run as one of the best member donated content sites around. It's sad to see it come to an end.
I do understand that it takes money to run that site. But I thought his banner advertising sales was covering that?

If it stays a "tube" site, then it will probably run into problems. But there are paysites out there that run off member submitted material. One such site is Dark Cavern, which I used to belong to. It's an interracial site, but it has more than just video content. It has the whole 9 yards for interacting with people and over time even added some sparse self-generated or bought content.

Looks like what FFT is now doing is getting you to "register" with a username and password. Then you become a "member" and get to view about 6-8 videos for free until eventually thereafter you go to click on another video thumbnail and a "Subscription FAQ" screen comes up every time you go to view a video.
I wouldn't pay anything for this site. It's full of crappy 15 second to 5 minute videos. On occasion you'll come across a 20+ minute vid, and even on a rarer occasion you'll be lucky to stumble upon a full-length flick.
No skin off my back. Where 1 site goes pay, 10 more free ones pop up.

Wow, the quality of most of the videos arent even that good, and most of the clips are 20 seconds long. And it took me 10 months to find about 20 decent clips of a good length and quality. Plus paying $360 a year for videos the you cant even save to your computer is the ultimate ripoff.
Fortunately for me, I've moved on to other free sites (that have much longer videos with waaay better quality), and I stopped using FFT a long time ago.

It will absorb the paid-for promo content model that many other stream/tube sites utilize. You pay, they convert to flash, you get your slice of the organic FF search pie to your site, everyone is happy. No more community.....
It would all be moot if you-tube just adopted an "adults only" subsection and trust the publishers and channel maintainers to do the right thing and tag their content "mature" as opposed to relying on the faulty, rife for abuse, craigs list style flagging model. The folks at Vimeo should wise up and try to beat YouTube in that very way, instead of trying to be progressive they simply adopted YouTube style "community guidelines".

Like the earlier post, How did you find Wu's... all good things must come to an end. If you can somehow make a buck then they will do it. I have seen many people that posted on FFT not update in many weeks. Half the the stuff on there is years old and a bunch of crap anyway. The other half is good but they want you to go to their website to pay more anyway. Let's think about this, if you had something popular and people were coming from all around to see it you would think, hey how could I make a buck out of this. It's the American way!! I once met the footfetishtube guy at a party in Sydney and he claimed that he had bought the site at auction for a huge sum of money and then turned it into a membership site to recoup the cost and that it is now his full time income. Seems pretty dodgy given that its technically illegal to resell copyrighted content. He went on to say that he constantly receives mail from irate producers and seemed like a generally shifty character. What a stressful existence.
