maybe twice a year. i am easy to find and actually encourage people to tell me if they think I suck or not, however. they all have my icq, facebook, twitter, yada, yada.

BFO : they are mainly bitching about password. I use only paypal and I am not interested in CC Bill.
Paypal allows me to filter members by country and I mainly block the applicants coming from certain countries ( I have my reasons ). Paypal allows me to see where the applicant is located. Some hackers wannabee also send me fake Paypal notifications in hope to get a password. That's why I need to check my Paypal account for each transaction and verify country of origin. I usually send password within 2 hours after purchase as I need to log in Paypal and do a routine check ( can't do that while driving for instance ) .
I of course warn all applicants on my website that passwords are sent usually a few hours after purchase. Here's an excert of the join page :
Join Now! ( and PLEASE read the paragraph below about password sent to you by email. READ READ READ
IMPORTANT : For the love of God please read this because I will not reply emails about this subject. You will receive your login and password to our Members Area IN LESS THAN 24 HOURS AFTER PAYMENT. Please don't email 5 minutes after payment asking where is your login...Please don't be a moron and read this paragraph.
Okey...you would think that after such a warning people would wait a little while to receive their password. Wrong!

Manually generating passwords? Wow, what a nightmare. Yes there is definitely a dark side to the Internet.
Apparently people are not visiting your site to read. Go figure... Of those that do, I'd imagine that many probably put off joining to avoid any potential hassle.
24hrs sounds a bit dodgy in my opinion. Most longtime surfers have been badly burned a time or two, and are thus often highly suspicious. That's no excuse for threats and slurs however.
Paypal may also close your account at any moment, as they operate similar to Youtube.
Pretty much all dedicated website billing companies like CCBill already filter undesireable countries.
Though I don't solicit opinions or requests, one of the nastiest e-mails I've ever gotten came from someone angry about my latest Wu's contribution. Posted by Beautifulfeetonline.com (Member # 13717) on :
wow, but yes, pretty much agree with what goodguy said. I have only had one "bad" email this year, out of hundreds of members. He said that the site was slow downloading my HD Video.
