Anne Francis his died. She starred in the classic sifi FORBIDDEN PLANET, where she was barefooted throughout the entire film. She also starred in the short-lived HONEY WEST, and was barefooted a few times there. (One memerable scene showed her getting a foot massage from a lesbian masseur!) I'll miss you, and your beautiful feet, Anne!

A big loss for me as well, since I'm a fan of hers. The reason I go by the name 18th Floor is because of her role in the Twilight Zone.

I was a little too young to have seen Forbidden Planet when it was released, though I do remember Honey West, which was produced several years later and which got me interested in her earlier work. A real beauty, very sexy, and a good actress too.

Truly a sad moment. When I first saw "Forbidden Planet" and noticed that, from the start, her feet were bare, I lost interest in the plot and just kept waiting for her next appearance.
