Hey Guys and Gals,

I used to buy most of my wife's shoes. but in the spirit of understanding, i've stopped. I won't get into that story this post.. but suffice it to say, one of the perks of me picking out the shoes.. i picked shoes that both were comfy but also had the type of material that produced the scent I enjoyed when she wore hose.

recently, she's been saving up for and buying this new designer brand. looks really nice.. she's very happy with the brand. I'm not a major fan, but I think they do a great job.

the part i am not happy about, the most recent pair she's purchase produces a horrid scent when she wears them. and the scent sticks around a long time after she takes them off. worse, it's "influence" is noted in the other footwear she wears. (she's switched shoes while wearing the same hose)

now.. several shoes that had the 'perfect' scent now don't. it's messing up the whole system I had worked out.

worse.. because she's not into the whole foot scent like I am.. she doesn't feel the need to make an effort to 'contain' the 'influence' to that one shoe.

years of careful selection.. down the drain! lol!!!!

for those who love strong harsh scents of any kind... you might want to look into Michael Koors latest platform line of heels. they have a fabric coated cushion insole that works like a charm for the wearer's comfort.. but produces one heck of a strong scent (that i don't like) that many of you might love.

so, though my perfect setup is ruined... i thought i'd share with everyone who can't seem to find the scent of any kind or strong enough scent... there is a brand out there that may make you happy

p.s. if it was up to me.. i'd refund her the money she saved up for so long and sell those suckers!! they still hold their scent after only three wearings all three weeks ago!!!!!! never had she had a shoe do that before

Are you saying that those shoes she bought are producing a synthetic, not natural, smell?
If so... [Cry]

i can't put my finger on it.. it's like a combo of synthetic and something close to dead animal (that's what idea comes to mind). i've never ever smelled something like this ever.

most her shoes take multiple wears over time to even have any residual smell. this one.. nope. three wears was it. by the way, the first wear.. you had a hint it was coming. second.. was tough but not bad.. third.. yikes!

I'm feelin' ya', man; find a way to have your dog do his business on them and then throw them out.

my wife is super protective of these shoes. she absolutely loves them. saved up a while for them too. (the first one she got carries no scent though... and it's a different line and less comfy)

so, my goal is rather simple.. i know that she loves wearing these with her designer tights. i also did some digging around and found the gal who helps her find these tights at an affordable price.

my goal is to get cozy enough with this gal and have her supply me with duplicates of all the tights my wife loves. that way... whenever she wears those shoes... i can offer a massage (yes.. take one for the team).. remove the tights... and put them away so they don't contaminate other shoes and slip the duplicate in the drawer to replace it.

if i stay on top of the replacement game.. wifey may not suspect.. and the contamination will be contained. (the last pair of shoes that was offensive in nature.. i got rid of because i found a new pair that looked a like but different material and hence no scent.. this pair, that option doesn't exist)

i tried relocating the shoes so she would not see it and be tempted to wear them... with not so pleasant results. she absolutely love the comfort these shoes come with. their insole is super soft and cushioned. but they stink to high heaven!!!!!!

sigh... the hunt for a solution is on! i can't have that stink contaminate all her shoes that produce the ideal scent for me!
