1)Athletes foot is not a STD..Its a fungus called T.Pedis...You can only catch it if you have a cut and it invades body cavity..

Yeast or Candida is basically normal flora..Its only a problem when there is an overgrowth of it..

One thing that has probably happened is an increase in "foot fetish"..Because you are safer and less likely to get STD from sucking someones foot compared to actual copulation..
I'm talking about the big ones-HIV, G.C./Chlamydae, Syphilis.. But Id be EXTRA cautious if I thought someone had an open lesion with Herpes, Granuloma Inguinale, Lymphogranauloma Venereum or (HPV)Warts on the foot.
