Seriously though, the best one I ever heard of was a guy hiring prostitutes off Craigslist in 2010, then having them go to meet him in "his apartment" which was usually a vacant apartment where he would have sex with them, pay them, then pull a gun on them and rob them for his money back.

Gee...so arranging for sexual activity via Craigslist could end up badly? Wow...who would have guessed? I'm completely stunned.
We are truly witnessing The Death of Common Sense in our present era...live on TV and the Internet. How ironic that the more technology improves and the more "information" we have as a society, the less prepared so many people are to utilize the technology and process the information in a logical, adult manner. "But I just thought that..." is becoming a common final, pre-death phrase these days. This case deserves an entry in the Darwin Awards book - which is a great read, BTW, if you haven't already read it.
