Hey everyone... I need to get this off my chest. For a while I been realizing in our community when it comes to communicating to each other. I get a sense of nasty vibes or just plain rude

I respect a lot of webmasters hard work but some come off very arrogant. You have an email on your site for members or non-members to contact then at least at some point in time to reply back. Yeah I know we all have busy lives and so do I. If you don't want anyone to send you messages and have really no attention writing back then I suggest you remove your contact info.

With that I see some people can become big headed knowing the quality of foot models you have at your site. I appreciate the work you do but remember we the customers pays for your site to keep you in business at the same time you provide us foot lovers great pics and video...so it goes both ways

I say the same for some foot models that's been in the game for a while knowing she got gorgeous feet but she become big headed thinking we all have to take your crappy attitude and stuff. I know some of us can be demanding in wanting a quick reply but I can say for myself I normally wait for a days or few weeks and then I do a follow-up. You all can agree or disagree what I'm saying but I just needed to get this off my chest....

Well, I can speak only for myself

I know sometimes I can take some days to answer my emails, but I always read and answer everyone of them.

I as well answer all or close to all fan mail as long as it's a reasonable request. LoveWrinkles, who in particular are you referring to that gave you the cold shoulder?

Hey guys thanks for your understanding. It's not my style to put names out there. They know who they're are...It may seem small for some people but it can tick a lot of folks off with an arrogant response or just plain ignore someone's message. Anyway I appreciate all the webmasters hard work doing the shoots and providing good quality foot models. One of the things I love about some of the foot models in here is good attitude+gorgeous feet is a major turn on for me

I try to answer what I can. I will say though, there are times when an ignorant email comes through and I won't waste my time. I've also gotten people that will send the same cut and paste email over and over again because they probably send it to every webmaster online. To those, I don't bother much either. I've also had people ask me the same questions numerous times thinking they're going to get a better answer or think it's going to cause me to change my mind. So while I do agree, coming off as arrogant is not a good business method, there are at times, those who don't always warrant attention. I'd honestly say, most of those who do those things above aren't even site members anyhow or aren't ever going to be. Free loaders tend to complain the most, or ask for the most stuff I find.

Just the other side of the coin because in any good debate, I like everything to be out on the table.

Yeah you have some folks (webmasters & foot models) that come across arrogant here...that is why I needed to share this.

One thing...about some people label as "Free loaders" that complain the most...well it all depends why they complain. If it's something valid then it should taken into consideration...

I cosign this 100 percent. Before Mel and I started Queens of the Heels, when I was just a regular guy just buying clips and I used to e-mail the owners, not to bug them, but just to ask a simple question and they would reply 3 weeks later and with an attitude and not even really answering the question I had I said to myself "I'm not going to be that guy", so I try to get at everyone that takes the time to ask a question or even say "good job!". Even if someone just wants to talk feet with me I'll shoot the shit with 'em. It doesnt even have to be all business. My e-mail is JayTheFootman@yahoo.com by the way if you ever want to chat about the clips or just... general feet talk! I always will make time for that, women with beautiful feet is one of my favorite subjects. [Smile]

Hey Jay, that's what I'm talking about. I am not a webmaster but if someone responds like a real D**K that only hurts your business because there a lot of foot fetish sites to check out. I don't expect people to respond instant but at least reply at some point. Jay, I'll check your site out shortly.

While I agree with some people being cocky and arrogant that run sites, I also will say that not all emailers are the nicest of people either. I don't know your particular situation, or who it was that you had a bad interaction with. Hell, I know I've had a few people mad at me and probably have a ton more that will say I've been nothing but nice to them. You will not please everyone. While you can strive to, you won't. For example, here are some people off the top of my head that had issues with me:

- A guy who asked me why I don't post model's email addresses. I told him I don't because the girls didn't supply them, so therefore I don't post them and that I respect their wishes on that. I have gotten emails for at least 3 years from the same guy asking if he can have model's emails at random (like I wouldn't start realizing the email address was the same). So yeah, I don't bother anymore.

- Had someone ask me when the next set of Ryan was going up. I told him within the next few months as I have a lot of models and themes I like to rotate. Two weeks later, I get a email saying, "I thought you said you had new Ryan stuff?" I repeated my prior email to him and then he told me I need to hurry up - and not being funny/cute either. He was not even a member.

- Recently had someone tell me they had issues downloading content on their Andriod phone and asked me why. I told him I wasn't sure and to check his settings as my HTC Evo downloads them fine and a few of the models grab some of their photos all the time. He replied it wasn't his phone (even though his is the only one ever reported to me that had an issue). I then found that some people on Google said sometimes they had issues, so I email both him and BHE about what these people said (Android Browser issue). He responded to me he got a refund. I said okay and moved on. A month later he emails me and asks if I fixed my site for Androids yet. I told him yet again that I don't know of anyone but him having problems, so no. He replies that he already talked to BHE. At this point I'm trying to figure out why he keeps emailing me if he knows the answer, so I tell him that it looks like he already has the answer. He proceeds to insult me and say I'm ignorant.

- I also have the almost weekly, "Can you send me some free pics," email to which I used to reply with links to Wu's and my free gallery section. Some people would say they saw all that, give them something else. Yeah, I think I'll spend my time doing that.

So while you see, your particular incident might have been something that was kind of messed up, keep in mind we often have to go through stuff like what's above to even find the emails worth replying to. And yes, you can call me arrogant if you think I should have to kiss the butt of the people I described above because 7 years ago I did and all it did was get me wasted time and keyboard clicks.

Running a website is like any other business in the world. The customer is right and you try to handle things to best suit them. But if you're selling cheeseburgers and a customer wants tacos, then sorry. If they keep ordering your cheeseburgers and they return them every time, then you'll tell them to take their money back and not serve them.

Sorry to go on this rant, but I don't want people to think us web masters to be some group of arrogant people. While there are some who are, there are some people who aren't web masters that are on the same boat. I'll be the first to tell you I've talked with other photographers/web masters who just come across as rude, but there are PLENTY out there who are great people. I'd like to think of myself in that boat, but that's for all of you to decide.

No problem, I hope you find something on there you like.... we also have Wrinkled Sole shows as well where the women will try to scrunch up their feet and show as many wrinkles as they can.

Patrick,

I feel your pain. To imagine people get stuff (that they worship) for free, yet still feel the need to bitch and demand? Well, personally, I appreciate what you guys do for us, all you guys that bombard us with beautiful hot chick feet, for free! (But, I'm still jealous about all the feet you get!)

No matter what you do, you will never satisfy everybody, even if you're the best at what you do. People will always find something to complain or troll about. Whether it's because they are jealous, just don't like you and what you do, or just really have nothing better to do, criticism is part of life whether it's warranted or not. The world is full of differing perspectives and that makes it simultaneously a great and shitty place.
It's like I say with everything I do "If you hate it perfect fuck off."

Get quite a few e-mails and PMs with requests or suggestions which I don't mind, but I don't always answer all of them. We mostly do this for fun in our spare time so things take time to get to as far as requests. And definitely can't get to all of them either.

I've had lots of positive interaction with foot fetish webmasters, including guys like Adam (FeetFair.com), Marcus (CanadianFootBabes.com), Patrick (SolesOfSilk.com), my clone (SpaceCitySoles.com), etc. The same goes with a number of the models whose feet I really dig. I think that the problem in many cases is that some guys have a sense of entitlement when it comes to foot fetish content and models. These people feel that being fans of the work entitles them to more than what is being freely offered or more than what they have purchased. I really empathize with models and webmasters. I have been badgered for free photos and model phone numbers, AND I DON'T EVEN HAVE A PAY SITE, just a silly little blog and Instagram accounts. I can just imagine what guys and gals who are really in the biz have to deal with on a daily basis.

Honestly, I get what Patrick is saying, but I feel it goes both ways. If the point was for folks to not think ALL webmasters are "some group of arrogant people", which I agree they aren't (at least I hope they aren't), I wonder if all/most webmasters think people sending them emails are self-entitled because they like a model/have purchased content. Which I think is what the OP was getting at. BECAUSE of webmasters' bad experience with the self-entitled lot, they may, perhaps inadvertently, take it out on the ones who AREN'T like that.

Its like what I'm hearing is the webmasters saying "I get your point, BUT--" and then point out their bad experiences...and then the buyer says "I get your point, BUT--" and then point out THEIR bad experiences. Might simply be a lack of empathy on both sides.

Yeah, probably what happens most of the time to be honest. My point, which I probably went on tangent, was that sometimes it takes some time to get to people's emails when we go through stuff like what I listed. I can only imagine what a girl who runs a site or answers the emails goes though. My worst emails are generally the ones that think I'm the girls in the pictures. Those get quite, umm... pushy at times. LOL
