BECOMING ACQUAINTED

These next two women could be the topic of an interesting discussion this week mainly because their pictures were taken under the same settings and conditions. A lot of models, before they become household names, undergo this routine where they have pictures taken in their bras and panties and lingerie and pose as if they they were to appear in some JCPenny catalogue. These images are timeless pieces in that people will go back to them many years later and know how innocent they looked before making a big splash for themselves. Other than Brooklyn Decker's first set of pictures, the other galleries between herself and Candice Swanepoel were shot by the same group of people.

YOUTUBE --
These next two clips are not overly sexy, so don't expect to see swimsuits or anything that will get you overly excited. Instead, these next two clips are sort of introductions as to who they are. For Brooklyn, you get to know what her taste in style is like. For Candice, it's a typical video telling who she is and what she's famous for. These two videos are very useful for anyone who is not too familiar with either one of them. Again, I must warn everyone that these are NOT foot related videos.

NOTE --
I must say that whoever was in charge of photoshopping these images of Irina must've been someone who has never handled that software before. We all know that a little touch up here and there is done to these women before they appear for publishing, consumed by the masses and media. However, in this case, the person has overdone it. As you'll see in the video -- which showed behind-the-scene footage of that exact photoshoot -- Irina needed no favors from the airbrushing. The Shoe Department images are more proof of that.

JENNIFER HAWKINS --
From Australia, she is known as the Thunder from Down Under. She is in her first year of this competition. She generating a lot of votes in a losing effort last week, pushing Heidi Klum to the very limit. Hawkins was one of my candidates in becoming the Official Symbol of the NFC to rival Marisa Miller in the AFC. At the time, I didn't think her fame and status would generate a lot of interest in the United States within a considerable amount of time, and a lot of guys in the States are still not too familiar with who she is. I decided to hand Candice Swanepoel the label of being the leader of the NFC instead at a time when she was an unknown, a move which has paid dividends for me. In her rookie season, let's see how she fares out.

Jenny McCarthy -- http://www.imagebam.com/gallery/ivs2kwzkly52weipihja0m01297iu70d

JESSICA ALBA --
Jessica Alba is still a favorite by many supporters here. She is the only female in Fashionistas' history to make the playoffs in each of her first four seasons. She is one of three women who have participated in this contest in every year since its beginning. Other than her poor showing last season, she has been quite consistent in her winning ways. Usually when there's doubt about her making the playoffs, she always finds a way to come through and persevere the challenges and obstacles, which explains why she's a mainstay attraction in this contest.

MILA KUNIS --
Mila Kunis is in her second year of this contest. The announcement that she was going to take part of the Fashionistas was met with overjoy, accompanied by what seemed like a parade full of confetti, awaiting for their uncrowned savior to make things happen and have championships won. Mila is a person and a personality who adds a stoic ether to her immediate surroundings to this contest because her sexual appeal can be described as just that. That makes her threatening delicious.

Since this contest is in memory and in dedication to Salvatore Ferragamo, it would be a nice added touch to add the media outlet that is fashion related, inspired from his ideas from Hollywood's Golden Era to the present day chic.

Once again, great work and excellent organization skills to come through with another great week of matches, photos, and videos. With everything you can ever ask for under one roof, this is truly the one and only place in this forum to go for celebrity feet. Speaking of that, I wonder what happened to Nusuth last week? I thought he would come in by the end of the week as he usually does to drop comments.

It's time for AnnaLynne to get going here before it becomes too late. For the first time, I feel like McCord's chances of making the playoffs are in jeopardy because of the caliber of women involved in her division. I remember praising Heidi Klum when we all found out last year that she would be in this this year. Now she's in AnnaLynne's way. Jennifer Hawkins looks amazing and her feet are very promising to go very far in this contest. I had to vote for Mila Kunis just to protect McCord. If it weren't for the fact that Hawkins was in McCord's division, I would've voted for her over Mila. Many people may not like that approach, but sometimes you have to do things against your own will for survival. In a season in where each girl has 16 matches, each match is very precious. If each girl had 50 matches in a season, for example, I would vote for Hawkins because there would be a long way to go for 50. Instead, we have 16.

Kate Upton continues to make us melt. These pictures of Kate Upton are worth GOLD. These will certainly be classics for her. Her soles so close to my face when I click that picture puts me in heaven! National's coverage on a history lesson on the Swimsuit Issue made me go out and buy a copy for myself, and may I thank National for bringing this to the main spotlight last week. It is worth the purchase and these pictures of Kate's soles are pure heaven!

And we have ourselves quite a main event for the week. Marisa against Tisdale. Everything about this contest is the most credible about celebs' feet.

I'll talk about the AFC matches this week.

Alba vs. Clancy. First off, I'm very pleased and excited with the fact that Alba won last week. After such a terrible season last year, getting a win in Week 1 is a step in the right direction. Now against Clancy, there's a good chance Alba wins this one as well. I love Clancy's candid, though. But I feel that Alba will pull this one through.

Jenny vs. Nina. I'm disappointed but not surprised that Nina lost last week. I can't stand Jenny McCarthy, almost to the point that I hate her. I've never liked Carmen Electra, but with Carmen I won't go as far as to say that I hate her. I've voted for her sometimes, but I don't see myself ever voting for this girl. Plus, Nina looks like Emmanuelle Chriqui, her feet are not bad as well. Nina gets my vote.

Lowndes vs. Longoria. This is a very fair match for the two of them. Lowndes is slowly making herself a HUGE threat in the AFC with those great feet of hers. One won't find flaws in them, as they are one of the best in Hollywood. Longoria has done pretty well for herself over the years here. I pick Lowndes to win this very well contested match.

Carmen vs Stacy. I have Stacy's feet over Carmen's feet in this match. I personally enjoyed seeing Carmen suffer the way she did last year. Perhaps National just wants to give her ONE more shot to see if she still has it and turns it around this year. Her division is very hard to predict who's going to win it. I think I'm pulling for Stacy to win it, although I won't be mad or disappointed to see Lowndes win it. But that division is unpredictable.

I REALLY enjoyed seeing Marisa get her ass beat. Or rather in this case, her feet beat. I think is going to take over Marisa's spot as to top girl in the AFC. She's in a good match this week against Maria Menounos. To see Maria ahead of Miller in the standings is so great and funny. [Laugh] But Bar Refaeli is SO FUCKIN' GORGEOUS, her feet must taste like super when they're in your mouth. My pick goes to Refaeli.

And Oliva faces Rosie. I smiled when I saw this match because there's a very good likelihood that Alba is going to finish this week all to herself in first place of her division. When you look at it, Wilde has a better chance to lose this week than Alba does. Even if Alba loses, it doesn't look like Selena Gomez will win her match, I want Nina to win, but that's a tough match to predict. Evan a Nina win won't put her ahead of Alba. And I don't see how Rosie is going to lose to this one.

Great analysis from foot foot_fashion_industry. Some interesting matches this week. I particularly like the Megan Fox/Irina Shayk battle. It's a match I don't think we've ever seen before and it's a match I intend to watch very closely. I voted for Irina in this one. I read what National had to say in regards to Irina before clicking on her link. And I have to say that he's right. Sometimes you figure that people will have to stop photoshopping when so many people complain about it. But I understand that it's part of the business. But whoever was in charge of those should've been fired. What an injustice to Irina! Thanks for providing that video link and those other pictures of her to refresh us just how stunning she really is.

Speaking of photoshopping, let's talk about how none of it was done in those pictures of Candice Swanepoel and Brooklyn Decker. Those pictures was absolutely sensational! Those sets is what really makes this match more meaningful. It's like looking at rare pictures of them before they were stars. It's pretty neat and it feels like you're looking at something quite special.

That's a real good match, too. I've decided to give the vote to Decker this week.

I also feel that Rosie will beat Olivia this week, although Olivia's pictures last week were quite something to look at. One of the best I've seen out of her. This week, she still looks great and I love how she puts her best foot forward in these pictures. I think Rosie has better feet. Besides, Rosie is in a very competitive division. She has to keep up.

Now for my take on the NFC matches this week.

Aniston vs. Maggie Grace. I was pleasantly surprised to see Maggie win last week over Katy Perry. I thought her lack of star power was going to cost her the win over Katy. Her win certainly adds interest in her division and some interest in her feet. As much as I vote for Aniston as often as I can, I went with Maggie's feet over Aniston's. Hope Maggie continues to do well.

McCord vs. Katy Perry. For the life of me, I can't figure out what anyone sees in McCord's feet. 18th Floor has reason to worry about McCord making the playoffs because I feel the same way he does in terms of McCord being looked over because of the other three girls in her division. However, I'm going to enjoy seeing AnnaLynne go down.

Upton vs. Petra. I was disappointed to see Petra lose last week. Now she has no shot at a win this week against Kate Upton. I feel that Petra has the better feet over Upton. I've always like Petra and I want to see her do well. But her lack of star power is going to come back to haunt her this week. I voted for Nemcova, but it will surprise no one to see Upton win. Not that I dislike Kate. In fact, I vote for her as often as I can. This week, however, I prefer Petra's feet. Kate being the cover girl for the Swimsuit Issue should tell you something. It should tell you that she's the odds-on favorite to win the whole thing this year, especially considering how dominant she was last year.

I feel sorry for Petra because she's in a division with Megan Fox, a consistent winner; Brooklyn Decker, a very popular model who's expected to be a big-time player for years to come; and the 2-time defending champion, Candice. This is going to be overwhelming for Nemcova, who was a swimsuit covergirl herself at one time.

Hawkins vs. Kunis. Very interesting match. Very interesting. I'm voted for Hawkins. Not only does she look totally amazing, but her feet are seriously HOT! Like National said in that little piece on Hawkins before you click on her link of pictures, she was quite impressive for someone who lost in her first match against Heidi Klum. That impressed me, too.

I don't think Mila is going to win her division. That belongs to Kate and that should be a foregone conclusion. Tisdale might have something to say about that because of reputation as being a dark horse of this contest. But if I were Upton, I wouldn't worry about Kunis. For Kunis, she needs to be a wild card and hope someone else knocks off Upton. Then Mila can get to the finals without Upton being in the way.

Audrina vs. Justice. I really don't know what to make of Audrina. She's done incredibly well for someone who's not that well known like any of the other three girls in her division. This is a VERY good match. The only thing in Audrina's way of winning her division is Victoria. I don't think Kristen Stewart is going to be a factor AT ALL. Katy Perry might not have a good year, in my opinion. It would surprise me to see Victoria win that division, but I think she REALLY deserves it. With Audrina, I don't mind if she wins her division and I would hope for the best once she's in the playoffs. I think Victoria will have a great year, and she needs to win this match to prove that her feet has worth. Otherwise, Audrina will have that division on lockdown.

And finally, I love both Candice and Brooklyn. Great to see these two facing each other this early in the season. I pick goes to Candice.

Once again, great organization skills in putting this together. I really echo what 18th Floor said about this being the best place to go to get your fix for feet of the famous. The women are here, the matches, the photos are all here to drool to and be really excited about. It's great to see entire sets of pictures of each celeb at a particular event or photo shoot. One picture of a girl is not enough for us anymore. I love it that we get the entire value meal when it comes to pics.

That Candice Swanepoel deal is just sweet, MY GOD! I enjoyed looking through those pictures greatly. Especially the one where she wearing the nylon in those sexy black heels:
http://www.imagebam.com/image/47901b238020773#

Kudos to National for cater to our needs with all these pictures.

I hope Victoria does well as well, as she's my favorite in this whole thing. I don't remember ever seeing her beat Audrina in a match where people thought her feet were better than Audrina's. Audrina, never looking bad herself, looks pretty amazing in those pictures, sizing up all the different dresses and skirts. That's one of the best I've seen from her, and those pictures will assist her very, very well. I like Victoria's win last week, but now this is serious.

Great matchups. I've been extremely impressed with Kristen Stewart. She lost last week and is in tough against Kim Kardasian this week but I definatly got a thing for her feet. Splendid job as always with the pictures, profiles and presentation of this long standing staple of an Event that makes this site a better placw National.

My AFC vs. NFC picks.

Kim Kardashian against Kirsten Stewart. That was a real tough loss for Kim last week. She's in a division that is unpredictable, just like some of the others. Anyone can make a case for any of the girls in Kim's division to win it and make the playoffs. If this was years ago when Kim was an automatic favorite to win just about any match, this would be an annihilation on Kim's part. Since she won the championship, I guess she felt that she had nothing more to prove. I still believe that Kristen will not play a part in her division with Audrina. Stewart is one of those 'love her or hate her' type of women. I pick Kim this week. Her Shoe Department pictures are truly outstanding and seeing her drink that Midori beverage makes me want to go out and get some alcohol for myself. And seeing her lips on the drink is luscious. I love seeing the lipstick on Kim.

Next we have Gomez against Klum. I guess we're here to see how Selena's season last year was a joke. It will be highlighted by a loss to Klum. Seeing Heidi in those pictures really got me going. Sexy style, sexy poses, love her feet and the shoes she has on. Really makes you so happy that you have a foot fetish. It's entirely possible that Alba will be in first all to herself when the week is over. Damn, I'm loving this year WAY more than I did last year, and we're only in Week 2! It was so depressing last year to see Alba start the season 0-4. If she starts this season 4-0, then she will mean business.

This next match between Irina and Megan is VERY GOOD. This is really what AFC vs. NFC is all about. It's about seeing the best from opposing conferences face each other in a once-in-a-lifetime treat. Although I don't vote for Megan often, I can clearly understand why this is a great match that will be a treat for all of us, and why this contest is the best of its kind. I'm not that big of an Irina fan, either, but I vote for her WAY more than I do with Megan. I'll stick with Irina and her feet. Besides, I picked Irina to win her division with relative ease. And her domination starts now.

The Classic of the Week is one of the great showdowns we have this week. Someone who no one expected to start the season 0-2 is going to start the season 0-2, which makes that match between Miller and Tisdale all the more exciting to watch. However, that match is in danger of getting way out of Tisdale's reach. Marisa Miller, being the girl of the AFC is not going to start the season 0-2 and I voted for her this week. She is PISSED after losing last week and she wants to show Bar that her time for revenge is coming. Boy, will that be an intense rivalry. And if you throw Rosie into the mix, we have ourselves an even bigger rivalry between the THREE of them. I think Tisdale has met a match that is finally too big for her.

Interesting. You had a few women in mind who could fulfill that duty of being the official symbol of the NFC. That's valuable information you just shared with us. It feels so good to know that for some reason. Probably because I never thought that you had to narrow a list down before you gave that title to Candice. Was there anyone else you thought of giving that official symbol title to? Imagine that, Jennifer Hawkins would've been the face of the NFC. Knowing that just might raise her stock in this contest.

My Classic of the Week pick.

Other than Jessica Alba winning last week, seeing Marisa lose was another thing that made my week worth remembering. Now she faces a very unpredictable Ashley Tisdale. I picked against her last week and I wasn't surprised to see her lose. Besides, Tisdale's history in this contest will tell you that she is just o.k. against mediocre opponents or those who are the mid-carders. It's against the heavyweights of the contest where she makes her mark. These are the type of matches Tisdale THRIVES for. Things are not looking well for Tisdale at the moment. I certainly hope to see her get through this and beat Marisa. I have no idea what I would do if Marisa does in fact lose. All I know is that I don't feel that Marisa would win the division from an 0-2 record in a division where you have Rosie and Refaeli. As long as those two are there, there's NO WAY Marisa is going to pass them in the standings if she loses this week.

My pick is Tisdale. [Fingers Crossed]

To answer your question, there was one other girl who I thought about making the Official Symbol of the NFC. It was Petra Němcová. Petra was first on my mind. I thought about putting in this contest for a few years now and changed my mind on her probably because I didn't think she was ready. So I had my eye on her for a long time. WAY before I knew about Candice. In fact, I was this close from making the announcement that she was going to be the NFCs answer to Marisa Miller a few years back. Then I back out of it the last minute. Something about her that didn't convince me that would captivate the audience. I tried to convince myself to promote her, but I couldn't do it. Besides, I didn't want any Official Symbol to have small tattoos on her foot.

Marisa Miller was an obvious choice for me for the AFC, but I needed someone who had a very different style and personality to her than Marisa who is too American Pie, whatever that means. What I knew for certain was that it wasn't going to be anyone who was already in the contest. I knew that to find that girl, I had to look outside my contest. And I knew I wanted that girl to be a model. I was in no rush to look for girl who would wind up as the Symbol of the NFC.

Then I thought of Hawkins. She seemed just as Australian as Marisa is American. I thought about her for a while, then decided to go back to the drawing board.

It was a very, very long time before I can across Candice Swanepeol. Looking back on it, I don't remember how I first heard about this girl. I immediately fell in love with this woman. Her look, the voice, the accent, all swan-like and a demeanor that glides as smooth as silk. I knew immediately that this was the girl who is perfect to represent the NFC, a model who is so different than what Marisa stands for. And this was months before I made the announcement public.

I learned just a tiny bit about her because at the time, virtually no one knew who she was. But I knew she was going to be a superstar one day and become someone quite special before all is said and done.

Irina Shayk over Megan Fox any day of the week. Her photos did bother me a bit for the same reasons National pointed out. But to show the video to go with those photos balanced it out because at least whoever did photoshop those pictures didn't do anything much about her waistline to make her look anorexic or anything. The video made the pictures look better and it was a nice eye witness account, so to speak, that she doesn't need that she doesn't need to be photoshopped.

I also voted for Tisdale. Her shoes in her first set are just killer hot. Love clicking on pictures just showing her face as well because it's so big and clear that it makes you want to kiss the screen on your laptop or desktop. It's worth mentioning again just hot hot Tisdale's shoes look. The French pedicure goes very well with the color of those shoes and they make her feet look like dessert.

For the first time that match is starting to generate some interest because at one time Marisa's lead over Ashley was huge. Now Tisdale is within reach. This is an amazing turn of events if Tisdale can inch ever closer to her. This match is well deserving of being the Classic of the Week. Foot fashion industry is right about Tisdale rising to the occasion when she's up against someone with a history of dominating the competition. I don't know what the hell is going on here, but this Tisdale thing leaves me speechless!

Another match worth paying attention to is that Jessica Lowndes match against Longoria. I think Longoria is serious about getting the most out of this season. They have been neck and neck all week.

There you go! I asked about you earlier. Last week was amazing. I know you not a fan of Candice in this contest. If you were to ignore that part, you would also agree that last week was an amazing time to be a fan of this contest. National had details of the actual shoes Olivia and Nina wore, including the price tag. It's a feature I always love about this contest and it was nice seeing that again to kick off a new season. Kate Upton dominated the conversation for being on the cover of that Swimsuit Issue for the second year in a row, National gave us a history lesson on the Swimsuit Issue, even going as far as showing the link to every single page of the first one way back in 1965 or whenever that was.

You'll be also glad to hear that Audrina won last week in amazing fashion over my girl, AnnaLynne! I must say that she looks STUNNING this week.

The biggest reason to tune in this year is to see if Candice can make win it all for the third time in as many years. This season is going to be sick!

If you are a huge fan of any of the girls in here, you just getting excited and getting nervous at the same time because a lot of these matches are still too close to call at the time I'm typing this. You can't make a safe bet on a lot of these matches because a girl who currently has the lead can lose it when the matches are over, and vice versa.

It is getting interesting, as 18th floor pointed out, that Tisdale is closing in on Miller. Now the world will see if Tisdale has it in her to pull another humongous win. But for me, I'm getting all nervous for Victoria. Can't believe she now has the lead. I certainly hope she can hold it.

I'm still sticking to my prediction that Miller will win. I didn't expect Tisdale to make a huge comeback to make it close, but Miller will be added to that list of those who was humiliated by Ashley. Remember, she can't afford to have a terrible start if you're the official girl of the AFC.

And Candice continues to show us the goods in ways that we haven't seen anywhere else in the celeb foot fetish forums. Candice is for National and he gets to get access to all the Candice hidden treasure, because that's what her pictures were. I know I'm not the only one in here, but I couldn't help but putting my nose up against the screed and wishing I can sniff her bare ass in those pictures as those panties are way up in her ass crack. Hey, if those pictures are posted, I'm going to talk about it.

I don't think Audrina is ready to let Victoria take the lead in that division. Looking at Audrina's pictures, I bet she's probably looking for something she can wear in the weeks to come during the season. It's probably a preview of what she has in store for us. Love it. [Smile]

Very nice looks on both Jennifer Aniston and Annalynne McCord. Nice to see the portrait shots of Aniston. Also love the outfit Aniston has on. Seems like she's calmed her nerves after getting routed last week.

Also Menonous has some very sexy soles, which I enjoyed looking at throughout the week. She would attract so much attention from foot guys as they walk by in front of her at the pool with her soles exposed for us to get a great view of. I hope she has a great year.

I love it, too. Lovely smile as she looks through the different clothes on those racks. She can probably buy everything that's there considering the kind of money she has. Audrina looks great in these pictures. However, she'll look better with this on [Smile] : http://www.imagebam.com/image/b3fd73238010753

It's kind of bitter sweet when you think about Audrina's match because she's facing Victoria. Justice has very cute feet and you don't want to see her go down. I didn't want to have to make this choice, but since National gave us this match, we are left with no other choice but to vote between those two.

To make my week even better, I just need Carmen to win this match. Starting off at 1-0 is great. 2-0 starts to reassure you that your girl is on the right track.

Like Nusuth, I also missed out on the last week of this amazing contest. However, I did take a look at all the comments posted and how the matches went last week just so that I can catch myself up to speed with what's going on this week. Last week looked incredible and I wish I was there to join in the party.

Looks like the only sure victory this week is Kate Upton's match against Petra. Mila Kunis is very hot, but so is Jennifer Hawkins. Amazing beauty with amazingly beautiful feet. She's the complete package from head to every toe. I would've voted for her last week over Heidi Klum. If she wins this week and next week, she might be a new dark horse of the NFC aside from Tisdale. National has a great eye and he definitely found a winner with Hawkins. For Kunis, it would suck starting 0-2, but if you're Mila, you know you're not going to end the season with a losing record. I'm going to count on a winning streak that'll put her right back in this thick of things. I'm assuming that Hawkins will hold on to her lead and win this because jaw droppers like her are very hard to vote against.

Dude, you're absolutely right. How many guys have also kissed her ass when you enlarged those pictures? The best part about that one picture with the black stalkings and the black shoes is that you can imagine the sound they make when Candice removes the shoes, all leathery 'n stuff.

Brooklyn's look great as well. But Candice wants our votes even more.

And my girl, Megan Fox. Like I did last year, I'm pushing for a Megan/Rosie finals. Two badasses from each class going against each other in a Micheal Bay epic classic explosion thriller this summer!

Thanks for taking your time to answer my question. It was like reading a tell-all into your mindset when selecting someone to be an Official Symbol of either the AFC or NFC. I was quite surprised to learn that Petra Nemcova was also up for consideration. With Candice, you saw her for the first time and immediately knew that she was the right girl for the job. What an amazing turn of events that then lead her to win back-to-back championships.

Candice has become something very special. This season will be paid attention to very closely because either Candice will be champ once more or someone will knock her off the playoffs or prevent her from making the playoffs to begin with. We will all be there to see who that girl will be if that were to happen.

As you can all see, the time limit for placing your votes will expire at twelve noon, US Easten time. Usually, I would have the matches be over with twelve hours earlier, at around midnight where I live. It was about six hours after I posted the matches for this week when I finally realized the mistake I made with the time I wanted things to end. I could've deleted the entire thread just to reset the end time, but by that time we were starting to get a good number of voters placing their picks for the week. Besides, when I realized my mistake six hours after the fact, I didn't want to start it all over only to shorten the time limit by twelve hours. I would've done it had I noticed my error maybe 30 minutes after I posted the matches. But after six hours, it was pretty much too late to do anything about it, I felt.

So my special treat for you guys is the extended 12 hours of voting. For the matches that are still close, it's the ladies chance to either extend the lead or for some of the other ladies to take advantage of the extra time by bypassing her opponent to change the lead.

Starting next week, we will return to our regular end time for all these matches.

Another interesting week, as we put a close on another fantastic week in the National Fashionistas.

I'm only going to touch on two or three things this week. For one thing, let's remember that it's only Week 2 of the regular season. People love to jump to conclusions still about who will make the playoffs this year. Yes, it's fun to speculate because we all do, myself included. It's part of what makes our discussions and debate very lively and this a reason why this contest is the most successful of its kind.

Even though we're done with the second week of this season, I'm going to throw out some stats anyway. A strong argument can be made that even though it's only Week 2, even though the playoffs doesn't start until June, an argument will be made by a lot of people that the following stats are meaningless. I'll give them to you anyway just to see if anyone else will jump to more conclusions, just to see if these stats will mess with anyone's head.

The first statistic is that your girl has a better chance of NOT making the playoffs at 0-2, than she is of making the playoffs at 2-0.

Chances of Making the Playoffs After the First Two Weeks of the Season,
Both Extremes,
All-Time

2-0 ... 73 Percent made the playoffs.
0-2 ... 89 Percent did NOT make the playoffs.

That statistic is a sample that involves 105 instances throughout the history is this event. So 105 cases of a girl starting the season either at 2-0 or 0-2 is something you might want to pay attention to. I'm not going to apply the stastic of those who started the season 1-1 because that's something I want to leave to the imaginations of everyone who's reading this.

Another stat involves only the women who are defending division champions. In this contest, since there are eight divisions in total, there can only be eight division champions.

Number of Defending Division Champions who Started the Season 0-2,
All-Time

2012 - 5
2011 - 2
2010 - 2
2009 - 0

For example, 2008 was our first season. Of the eight division champions that year, none of them started the season 0-2 in 2009. Of the eight girls who won their divisions in 2009, only two of them started the 2010 Season at 0-2, and so on. Perhaps by judging from the fact that five defending division champs currently stand at 0-2, that could give us an indication that more people's taste are changing as the years go on, perhaps adding more unpredictability to how things might turn out. It could be an indication that the new women I bring into this contest are having more powerful sways over how to influence the people's vote. If not, then most, or even all of the defending division champs, will be right back at the top at 2-0. Irina Shayk is the only defending division champ who is tied for first place in her division record-wise. I say "record-wise" because if I applied the tie-breaking procedure, it could be the case that Longoria is technically in first of her division through some loophole that's in the fine print somewhere. I only do the tie breakers at the end of the season because I don't have the time to do so as the season goes along.

In any event, I'll get back to you guys in a few weeks when I apply the percentages of women making the playoffs after their first four matches of the season. Those stats give percentages that are a bit more accurate.

Marisa Miller is one of two girls in history to make the Finals Classic one year and start the following season 0-2. The other person to do that was Kim Kardashian. She failed to make the playoffs after an 0-2 start that year. Speaking of Miller, let's talk about her right now.

THE DARK HORSE SAVES THE WORLD -- PART III

There are very few women in this contest who have put me at risk of running out of adjectives to describe and explain throughout our course of having witness so many defying moments in Fashionistas' history. Ashley Tisdale is definitely one of them. What she has been able to pull off over the last few years have been nothing less than astonishing. I think astonishing is the word that best describes how to put things in perspective when it comes to this girl. If you are a Dark Horse that is disguised as a main eventer, then you have lived up to that title to its every billing. A dark horse is someone whose abilities or potential for success are concealed, someone who wins against expectations. The term began as horse racing parlance for a race horse that is not known to gamblers and thus is difficult to place betting odds on. But for Tisdale, a lot is known about her, but it's still difficult to make predictions on her matches. She's either feast or famine, depending on her mood.

Back in Week 2 of Season 4, Tisdale shocked the world. At the time, Tisdale faced Kim Kardashian who was the defending world champion. She pulled off the first biggest upset in Fashionistas' history the first person who had won less than 25 percent of her matches and defeat an opponent had won at least 87 1/2 percent of her matches, a stat that only applies to matches in where the two involved participated in at least 10 career matches.

In Week 2 of Season 5, she did it again to defending champion, Candice Swanepoel. By that time, Tisdale was a proven winner. However, it was still shocking to see, as Candice was heavily favored to win that match, very few people thought that Tisdale would get by Swanepoel.

Now in Week 2 of Season 6, she's pulled off another heist in front of Marisa Miller, who while is not your defending champion, she is someone who won more matches than any other girl since the start of Season 3 (2010). She's also your Official Symbol of the AFC and your two-time defending AFC Champion, in case any new voters of this contest is keeping score.

For Marisa Miller, this is very much unlike her. She's a clear bet to win just about any match. Now she's shocked us by coming up just short again. In fact, you have to go back to Season 1ONE to find the last time she lost two matches in a row (or THREE matches in a row, if you want to include last year's Finals Classic).

For Marisa Miller, these two or three consecutive losses is an inconceivable notion to grasp if you are the Official Symbol of the AFC. For just about anyone else to lose two straight is one thing. For Marisa, this is an entirely different subject, even more so if these losses are those that kick off a brand new season. Perhaps Miller has done so well over the past that she has left us with such high expectations of her. This can explain why I'm on Marisa's case in the way I was harping at Audrina last year. I know who she's facing next week. If she loses that match, that's when I'll have my hand right on top of the panic button. It'll be a question of whether I want to actually push that button.

For Miller, things need to get straighten out. For Bar Refaeli, so far ... so good.

If my count is For Tisdale, she is now the first woman in history to have wins over the Official Symbols of both classes, Marisa Miller and Candice Swanepoel. If you are fans of the underdogs, then Tisdale has saved the world and has placed it under her watch.
