Why am I getting a virus warning on so many of the foot pictures links that I click on? Come on folks, don't try to fuck up your fellow foot people's computers! NOT COOL.

I agree

Amen brother, I'm sick of those lowlife fuckers who do that stuff. Life is hard enough as it it, most folks come here to check out great feet, and having to worry about getting a virus is the last thing they need. I have actually spoken to Wu about not accepting those type of posters, but I guess he's not all that motivated. I'm just saying...

Glad I don't browse the web for foot content much. I typically just stay on here or WikiFeet.

It seems if it's not viruses it's child porn, rape images and cartoon trannies.
ImageBam is one of the worst.

This is why people should use Imgur instead of those terribad sites such as ImageBam and ImageVenue. Imgur is completely safe and from what I can tell does allow for more X-rated stuff than your standard host.

I was speaking of the foot pictures section here on Wu's. I get a virus warning from about 50% of the pictures I click on.

I've never had a problem with the pictures on here. If you have a problem with viruses on Wu's, let us know what topic and pictures give you warnings so it can be investigated.

Could also be a false positive by your malware filter in your browser, firewall or AV software, if the settings are extremely high. Certain link locations or known to contain harmful scripts, and these filters will alert you to that possibility.. Porn and pirate sites tend to use links that raise these red flags, even though the link doesn't actually lead to harm.

It just now happened when I clicked on Puerto Rican Jenni.

Not sure what link you followed for her. I've done many checks on the pictures posted here and I've yet to find any problems.

Try lowering the severity of your antivirus program. It must be too high, giving you false positives. I have seen false positives show up for almost everyone that posts on here, including NorCal and Patrick. Never an actual threat though.

Imagebam has given me a few problems, but nothing my AV didn't take are of instantly.

FYI, images such as jpg, png and gif can't contain a virus. But unscrupulous ad-based web-hosts (such as imagevenue and the like) may display ads which attempt to push malware onto your computer.

One of the best things you can do is to use Google Chrome (as your browser), and to install the Adblock add-on (available from Chrome Web Store, for free).
