Originally I wasn't going to make a thread about this contest. I just figured with the amount of posts I do, the banner in my signature would be enough. I've tweeted about it instead, but in all honesty, things are turning out to be a dud!
This year since my site is turning 10, I've been celebrating all year doing things with the number 10 as a factor. One of those things is running 10 totally different contests. This particular contest is one I've done in years past - a Wallpaper Design Contest.
I'm not asking for anyone to be a top of the line graphic designer here, but if you have a knack, or are learning, I'd love for you to take part. Plus, the three muses for this particular contest are the cousin trio of: Mindee, Marcy, and Mariah!

I kind of wished I had started my site a little earlier, I had been shooting various things since 2000 officially but the whole "feet on the web" thing was a niche back then. Congrats.

Thanks man. My first online stuff was in 1998 on a free Yahoo Geocities server. Then I got too big for my college student pay rate and tried to have a free site on a server I paid for each month. Bandwidth = bitch, especially back then.

Maybe the lack of participants in this contest is due to the fact that the time spent creating a wallpaper is more expensive than buying a membership for your website.
Just a thought.

Yeah I remember the very first candids or feet pics I took were in the early 90's in High School with a disposable camera and old clunky video recorder I had borrowed and took to school with me. Those were the days! lol Posted by Patrick (Member # 1169) on :

Perhaps, although in the past I've gotten a few dozen submissions and SHH! (I gave everyone who took part a membership for at least a month no matter what). Plus there are 3 different prizes of at least 3 months each to be had. So since I'm not expecting the graphic designers from Avatar to take part, that's a pretty good payout (and has been in the past). But who knows. I'll probably get all the submissions the last two days like normal anyhow.
