In terms of foot fetish websites, CBF is goat 🐐 tier for its fantastic closeups and diverse range of willing women. But recently, the site is on zombie-status. The only updates there are from “classic” models and photoshoots from the mid-2000s. Worse, there hasn’t been video updates since last November, and even those were also “classic” retreads from that same time frame. And even when stretching the time window to the last 4-5 years, the plurality of models are professional stars from social media and porn sites, instead of random women out on the beach with their pretty feet as it was during this site’s peak.

Is there any issue arising with CBF? Did the guy who took those photos/videos got banned or in trouble with law enforcement? Is the site on the verge of death because of waning interest due to the COVID pandemic and less random women heading to the beach? Did that guy ‘retire’ from model shooting?

Good questions. I can't answer any of them. Used to love CBF. [Confused]

I think once a website has a lot of members, they tend to get lazy and stop with frequent updates. It's sort of like how some professors in college get lazy due to tenure.

The same goes for foot models. The rookie foot model works hard to get customers and once they get a huge fan base they get lazy and don't work hard anymore.

The explanation is a lot simpler, because a lot of fetish and particularly BHE sites went the same route:

The pandemic hit. People stopped going out & stopped planning social/work in-person activities. Photographers stopped doing shoots. Because these sites already do things in large batches (photoshoots with, like, 5 different outfits often happen within the same 2 hour period - the models and the photog don't actually run into each other that often), they had a huge pipeline of content to run during the pandemic. In some cases, the photogs haven't yet gone back to outdoor photoshoots, or they need to find new models before reshooting. Or, as in some cases, they've already shot new models but they need to edit/setup the photos for publishing first, so they're running "classic" material that they would have run at some point anyway.

Any site that's publishing any updates is not a "zombie" site. I remember a few years ago that FootsieTootsies took an unannounced "break", and knowing that Virgin Pink Soles went offline without telling anyone (and without letting anyone buy the archive), I decided it was time to spring for a membership to check out what was behind the paywall. I've done that for a number of sites that are online but not publishing, so that I don't miss out.

A site that is still publishing (even if it's prior models)... that's a sign that they're going to be around for a bit. So that's good news!

Also, retirements are expected at this point. A lot of the BHE sites that are still around have been publishing for the better part of 20 years. If the money wasn't rolling in, I'd probably be sick of doing a "hobby" for that long. The world around us is changing, there are so many new sources of quality content (paid or free)...

Norcalfeet has been been since March 2020, never had any set backs due to the Pandemic. In fact, never was busier and most of the girls were happy to get out and shoot during that time (and yes we do "run into" each other that much because a lot of our models are acquantances) although a few sets were done on the same day but rarely.

Regarding running "Classic Material", there's a new group of foot fetish fans every 5 years that have never seen certain material (younger people now adults with more access to this material since leaving the nest) and don't feel like digging through 15+ years of material and are appreciative of some of the older sets being posted as reminders of legendary gals. Sure it takes a lot of time to prep and pick which sets, but it pays off in the end.

You're right about Zombie sites, as long as SOMETHING is coming through as an "update" that simply means someone behind the curtain is pressing the "Send" button to the server and it's not automated (at least not yet). But to recycle ALL of your old material as new is strange, at some point let the old dinosaur die if that's where you're at. And yep, money is still good and that's one reason some of the old dogs still do this and let's face it...Feet are still awesome, til the day we all die. [Thumbs Up]
