It's very cold in NYC today, so it could just have been a woman going downstairs in my building, but, as I saw an elevator closing, I saw a pair of feet in what looked like beach shoes. The feet I saw had dark red polished toenails. The elevator closed, and I was outside in the lobby waiting for another elevator, so I only got a glance.
Today's high's are only in the 30s F, unusually cold for NYC in the third week of November. The average high for this time of year in probably in the 40s or 50s. Even in those temps, one does not see many female feet in flip flops/sandals, etc.
Just a nice view of feet for the first time in at least several weeks I believe

I think of it as a small blessing seeing some pretty feet especially during winter.

I wish there were more dressy high heeled boots with peak-a-boo cutouts on the foot (especially on the arch). That would really make my winter months more bearable
