I recently saw a nice little scene on a classic Let's Make a Deal episode. Monty Hall offered a girl $400 for her shoes--so she took them off and gave them to him! There was even a close-up of her feet!

I think some people are way over paying for used socks or shoes. You could find a session for a fair amount.

A person should never buy shoes or socks from people online. There's too many scams nowadays. Some foot models don't even wear the shoes! They just go to the Salvation Army and buy any random shoes and sell them to you! Or they just pour vinegar on socks. Britney Sweetstink scammed so many people in the past. Now she's hiding out there somewhere.

There is an old saying that everyone has a price.
Thought about doing a Let's Make A Deal gimmick.
Take a camera [or not], and approach random ladies whose shoes you would want to add to your collection. Ask them if they are familiar with the show. Hopefully, they are. Then make the offer.
Them being without shoes would be the part to sort out, especially if they are not driving. Would probably need to catch them on their way to their vehicles. Or approaching them after an event.
You could also use a scavenger hunt approach, and still make the offer. And tell them you need a pic of them wearing the shoes before they give them to you as proof for the hunt. Some may tell you not to get their face. But hey, that's okay. You will remember how they looked long after the deal.
