I still think the Vikes defense stinks. Having a QB with a good arm like Testeverde for your first opponent will definately test it.

Bigtime football fan here (ok, perhaps not as much as baseball but it's a close runner-up) weighing in. Let me just say that there are plenty of teams that I like a lot in the NFL, but there's only one team at the moment that I passionately detest, and that'd be New England. So I'm with Lord on this one. Yeah, I know the odds aren't exactly in my corner, but keeping hope alive, put me down for Indianapolis this Thursday.
No problems? Come on Sasha give Indie some credit. Even if they lose I think they will give England some problems. How can you say a team with Peyton manning isnt going to give any other team problems? Even with no defense 2 years ago he gave teams problems. Ever since Peyton lost the hiestman to a defensive player he has never gotten the credit he desserves. Terry bradshaw even said that it was ridiculous and the hiestman would never mean the same again. Dont count out Edgerrin James either. He got skills. They also got Robert Sanders in the second round he is supposed to be one heck of a safety. Maybe that will help out thier secondary a little.
All I am saying is even IF they dont happen to win I dont think England will roll no problem over them.

He was good but he didnt deserve the Hiestman. Never before or since has a defensive player won it. You cant tell me that Charles Woodson is the greatest Defensive player ever to step on a college field. If hes not why did he win it? No he wasnt...but....Charles Woodson was not only a corner back....he was the kick returner,punt returner and the # 3 wide reciever..He was frigin insane..THATS WHY HE WON!!!!.And yes......Stat wise.....CW was one of the best modern day defensive/special teams/offensive player in modern day COLLEGE FOOTBAL...
LOOK AT HIS STATS. He was off the charts his whole career ......a total witch......
He beat Manning fair and square that year.... The 79yrd punt return against arch rival OHIO STATE to go to the ROSE bowl for a shot at the national championship helped seal the deal.....

he didnt win it before he won the Hiestman I think its awarded before the bowl games? I might be wrong. Even him returning punts others have done it. They didnt win. His reciever stats were no where near good enough to win. I understand what your saying about the total package but look at mannings stats. men who were half the quarterback he is have won the hiestman. Not to mention woodson was a junior they could have gave it to him the next year. (he left early though they couldnt have known) Thats why they said manning didnt get it his junior year was that he would win it next year so they gave it to someone else. All I am saying is one of the greatest quarterbacks to come through the college ranks didnt win the hiestman his junior or senior year and thats crap.
