Oh God, I hope not. As much of a good fit as he is for the team at this point, considering they need a bulldog defensive midfielder like him, I'd hate it if Gattuso went to Manchester United. If he was frustrated for the soft play of some if his guys at Milan, what do you think he'd do to Cristina Ronaldo's diving ass? Rino would kill that fool in training for being so soft.

But seriously, any team that gets Gattuso would have a SOLID foundation to build from. He instantly improves the defense, so long as they play him in position and brings a hard to find toughness and tenacity to any midfield.

Matter of fact, I can see him going to Arsenal now that Flamini left. With him bodyguarding for that young midfield over there, Arsenal would make a very serious run at the title, even at risk to my team Chelsea. I'd love Chelsea to sign him, but they really don't need him; they've already got Makelele. Man, I can just imagine the wars Makelele and Gattuso would have with each other. Great stuff.

I don't know if I can give you an all-time XI, but I can give you an All-Man XI, composed of some of the most physical, toughest, meanest (and sometimes dirty), grittiest, and ballsiest players around.

G Gianlugi Buffon
LB Gabriel Heinze
CHB John Terry
CHB Marco Materazzi
RB Carles Puyol
CMF Gennaro Gattuso
CMF Claude Makelele
CMF Michael Essien
OMF Dirk Kuyt
CF Carlos Tevez
CF Wayne Rooney

C'mon, tell me you wouldn't love to field that team on a weekly basis. With Makelele and Gattuso patrolling the middle, Essien and Kuyt could roam freely setting up Tevez and Rooney for goals. Terry, Materazzi, Puyol, and Heinze would terrorize anyone who weren't half as manly as themselves in the back.

Interesting how you left out "pretty boy" Ronaldo. Just out curiosity who would be your manager?

I myself am partial to Jose Mourinho, who seems to know how to coach a team that plays physical.
