Even as miffed as I was that New England won that game last night, I logged onto Wu's this morning, saw the new Contributions, and suddenly I found myself forgetting about the game altogether in record time. hehe Ah well, on the subject of the game, Indy had their chance to cash in on field position late in the 4th quarter and take a 7 point lead, but they ended up fumbling & turning the damn ball over so they got what they had coming to them on that one. Manning getting sacked screwed the final field goal attempt and waved bye-bye to overtime. Looks like this is gonna be a fun season to hate the Patriots. Ok, where's that Contributions page again...

Tom Brady does remind me of Joe Montana. Neither of them have/had a rocket arm like an Elway or Farve but they know how to get it done. They are both very cool under pressure; both can make the slightest movements to avoid the rush and deliver the ball on time with accuracy. The guy makes good decisions. The Patriot WRs aren't terrible but if they ever get a guy that comes anywhere close to being like Jerry Rice then watch out.
I too think Brady is better than Manning. Sometimes I think he tries to do too much and he out thinks himself. He's the one who moved his protection over to the left and left himself wide open for the sack by McGinest.

Blargh. The Texans AND Cowboys lost!!!! Similar games too. David Carr panics too easily, and Davis needs to learn how to hold on to that ball. God knows they couldnt exploit Andre Johnson AT ALL. Argh...so many turnovers.

I got 10 out of 16 right this week. That's not too shabby. Picking the winners of NFL games isn't easy. I'd never bet money on them. I've never seen an expert get more than around 60% right.
