What the HELL is going on with the TEXANS? [Puke]

That is a very good question Sasha. This is ridiculous. Beyond ridiculous. We're worse than the expansion Texans. Offensive Coordinator, Defensive Coordinator, and Coach are all getting fired. I wouldnt be surprised if Carr got the boot as well and we took Leinhart as the #1 pick along with some offensive linemen. Im tired of this crap. This was supposed to be our winning year, and look at us. The worst team in the league. Watching them play is vomit inducing.

I thought that Dallas result was a type-o. What the hell happened? Was Mcnabb blindfolded? I was too busy watching 18 grueling innings of Astros vs Braves. Maybe the Astros should put on football helmets and play for the Texans. Maybe we'd have a fighting chance. My Quarterbacks this week threw for a grand total of 1 TD. Yay me.

I see that Carr was sacked 7 times today and I know he's always sacked a lot. I don't see many Texans games, (none really) so I have to ask, who's fault is this? Is the O-line that poor or does Carr hold on to the ball too long?

My Skins gave a valiant effort today but they made too many mistakes that cost them the game. We moved the ball really well but we are our own worst enemy. The botched hand off in the first quarter set up Denver's first score. The false start on the FG try at the end of the first half took three points off the board.

Those are two play that immediately come to mind.

Well I think its safe to call whats going on with the Texans a trainwreck of the highest caliber. Getting blown out by one of the worst teams in the league in our own home is just unacceptable. The Texans have had O-Line problems since their inaugural season, but not until now has it been so evident. Some blame Carr, some blame the O-Line, some blame the coaching staff. I blame all 3. How angry I was today, I almost moved for the Texans to take Matt Leinhart as a #1 pick, fire all the coaches, trade David Carr for some good O-linemen or another good WR at least and get somewhere. It's like we're going nowhere fast. If Carr was dealt anywhere he'd fall out of habit. Hopefully the Chargers can at least tough one out against the Steelers tomorrow. All my teams except the Astros let me down today...and man how they pulled that out. That was probably the greatest NLDS Game, if not the greatest playoff game of all time.

Well you know mystik, when Brees first came up he wasn't the best QB and now look at him. He's one of the best QBs in the game. Made the Pro Bowl last year and if he keeps playing the way he has been playing these past 2 games he could make it to the pro bowl again this year.

I say don't get frustrated on Carr he just needs more experience in the NFL and in a year or so when they get him a good offense that can give him enough time to get rid of the ball he will be a good QB and possibly make the pro bowl in a few years! You just gotta give him time.

Either that or he could turn out to be a Jake Bummer, I mean Plummer type QB. [Laugh]

Go Chargers!!

I must say that was one hell of a game last night in the Chargers vs Steelers game. I'm a true blue Chargers fan, but not disappointed in the loss. Normally I would be. Both teams played awesome. I love games like that where it comes down to the wire.

Much props to The Steelers for containing LT and Gates. Not that many teams can do that. Not to mentions that beast Shawne "Lights OuT" Merriman. That boy is gonna be a freakin super star soon, very soon! Seemed like every time he was out on the field he was making the big plays.

Now its time to put the game behind us and focus on our rival opponents the Chokeland Faders. Should be an easy win but I know that things aren't always what they seem to be so I'll expect the worst and hope for the best.

Go Chargers!!

Was Gates really contained? 60 yards, a td, and several interference penalties. Not a bad night for Antonio. Typical Marty-ball though.

Gates wanted no part of the Steel Curtain. [Smile]

You're next Jags.

I think the chargers were a little down, considering the 2 weeks berore, they played like supermen and couldn't keep it up a 3rd week in a row.On the other hand, pitt had a bye last week and was alittle rusty. So it equaled out.I still think the chargers are better than last year, and win most of the rest of their games.I mean, they destroyed the pats in new england, that's NO fluke. They didn't use L.T. in the first 2 games and would've won them if they used L.T. BTW, i'm not from San Diego, I'm from near pittsburgh.
