Well, I suppose there aren't many boxing fans around here, since no one responded to the boxing thread I posted last month or so, but I figure this might be able to get some response, as "The World Awaits"...or so Golden Boy Promotions and HBO will tell you.
For the record, I'm a huge Oscar fan, and I pretty much despise Mayweather, so I'm pulling for the upset here, as Mayweather is nearly a 2-1 favorite. I'm watching the fight this weekend at my aunt's house, and my family, for the most part, are Oscar fans, so if he gets the duke, it'll sound like New Year's Eve over there.
Any thoughts? Can the Golden Boy pull off the upset? Or is Pretty Boy Floyd too skilled, too young, and too fast for the legend?
