Anyone see Bushs' speech at the U.N. General Assembly....All and all I think he was very clear with his approach and what he intends to do as far as the US's role in the UN is concerned...

Bush is going to pull away from KERRY...I feel this in my heart.I felt it today watching him speak..I said it before I'll say it again. The PEOPLE responsible for his CAMPAIGN are brilliant!!! He's saying the right things at the right time....PERIOD

hmm. I disagree. But I do think he will win. I'm not a Republican, nor a Democrat, but I'd be unhappy with either Bush or Kerry winning.

Oh, I am not happy with either one of them. I just think Bush is the better of the 2 choices for now.

I really think it's time a third party came in. All I know is that the Iraq situation does not have much future, no matter what Kerry says. He won't be able to solve this mess.

I agree 100% with Sasha...

I have not seen his speech yet...I will watch it tonight on C-SPAN

I did however read it and felt that it was an excellent presentation...

Now, here is a question for the group...

What, if any impact, did the CBS story mess-up have upon this election?

Does anyone have any thoughts on this?

I would suppose that the CBS story mess-up isn't going to make any Democratic voters switch to Republican. To be honest, I personally could care less either way because I think that it is extraneous to anyone's ability to govern.

Really all I am seeing right now from BOTH sides is a bunch of bickering and character debate. I'd like to see some REAL politics where the candidates actually talk about the methodology they hope to employ in achieving all the things they talk about.

I think we would all like to see that. However, I think our chances are pretty slim.

Hopefully they will cover some real issues in the debates and we can see where they both stand.

It is sad that the smear tactics have become a way of life in all elections held in this country.
