Well, It is a done deal. Federal government has taken over our local Thomson Correctional Center. Which means I will more than likely have to relocate since my boyfriend I live with is a Sergeant at the prison. How this is a smart move for the community is what I'm wondering. Everyone seems to be jumping for joy that is it actually doing something now, but it was operating before. Having terrorists down the street is really something to be happy about? The only jobs this is going to provide is military jobs for a small percent of the population here. 120 jobs, and they are relocating almost 250 jobs.
