Why hasn't Blagojevich resigned yet?

Posted by footluvrguy (Member # 23285) on :

Cause he's a megalomaniac. [Eek!]

Posted by Second Timer (Member # 21660) on :

Cuz he's part of the Chicago mob, just like Obama who "hasn't had any contact with him" about his newly opened Senate seat. Ha, ha, ha...yeah right. Nice going Barack. Blunder #1 (and a huge one at that).

Oh, but of course, not one mention of this hugely corrupt scandal (maybe even one the biggest scandals in Senate history) on this liberal, Obama loving message board.

Not even inaugurated yet and his Chicago-style, lying, sneaking, Socialist, mobster ways are being exposed.

Blagojevich is scum, Emanuel is scum, Wright is scum, Ayers is scum, Obama is scum.

Rod Blagojevich said that the consultants (Advisor B and another consultant are believed to be on the call at that time) are telling him that he has to "suck it up" for two years and do nothing and give this "motherf***er [the President-elect] his senator. F*** him. For nothing? F*** him." Rod Blagojevich states that he will put "[Senate Candidate 4]" in the Senate "before I just give F***ing [Senate Candidate 1] a F***ing Senate seat and I don't get anything." .
I think second Timer's ignorant, rabid rants no longer warrant a response, and just need to be underlined.

Truly would be amazing for anyone to have gone up the ranks in the Chicago politics ladder without being corrupt. Seems like a crack in the breastplate of the almighty messiah. If it quacks like a duck..

Ha, ha...that's the third time you've said that Mona....yet you keep responding. In the great USA people are able to express their views openly, and not be hushed because others "don't agree" or are agitated by ones views.

By the way Mona, ever think of using,a,space, after, your, commas?

Just sayin...

point out my use of commas yet even after editing your post once you leave the "ones".You're supposed to stay away from errors when you do that.

And know,at this point it doesn't bother me to point out a troll when i see one.

I think we can all agree to disagree on some things, then we might be at peace around here. The wheat will be seperated from the tares soon enough,no worries ya'll! [Big Grin]

^ I am sure you are prepared to paint Bobby Jindal with the "Louisiana politicians are corrupt so he must be as well" brush that you have attempted to do with Obama in this thread if Jindal runs for the highest office in the future, since if there is anywhere more corrupt than chicago for politics it is Louisianna?

Sure we can disagree on things, but when there aren't any fact to support assertions, then it is no longer a disagreement about facts.Second Timer seems to remind us all that we are in America so he can say what he would like to.Actually,in America you aren't guilty until proven innocent.Second Timer has found guilt in the president elect actions with zero evidence supporting it,so he is actually quite un-American in that regard.

That does not make one a troll, but then to proceed foaming at the mouth and calling people scum, where this is quite common for him, lends credit to that accusation.Couple that with his pre-election capitalization of the president-elect's middle name "HUSSEIN" and i think it is certified.Apparently that middle name isn't quite American enough for him,I wonder how he feels about the name "Wu" as well?

Mona, I couldn't disagree with your politics and opinions more if I tried, and you've called me at least a half dozen names in the last two months. But that's ok. Just give me a footjob and we'll call it even!

Matter of fact, you could just talk me through it right here on the message board as I refresh by browser. We could do the very first, cyber-message board footjob in history. Whattya say?

Mrs. Second Timer wants her husband to stop and come to bed and to leave that nice Mona girl alone.

Salvy_Mic I don't know what to make of that ridiculous doll. Is it African American? Should I be offended by that? Is it supposed to be funny? Hmmm...

Let's face the facts folks. Everyone's gonna rush to Mona's side so I don't stand a chance here. That being said, it's BLATANTLY obvious that the chic is obsessed with my posts and can't wait to respond (even though she has stated repeatedly that she would not do so).

Oh...and Salvy_Mic can you add anything relevant to the topic (Blagojevich) other than a childish, stupid doll?

Im obsessed with pointing out ridiculous tripe, that is true.

And no i do not give pity footjobs.

Whoever is corrupt needs not be president or anyone in power of the United States, weather he comes from Louisiana or Illinois. Troll is cute, is that from your personal stash Mic? LOL j/k

Posted by Salvy_Mic (Member # 13384) on :

Yeah, itt just reminds me that some trolls are actually quite cute, but they also tend to go away after awhile.

Good luck with finding a blemish free politician or human being for that matter.

If you were in the position to be president would you go for it?

Matt: Blemish free, there's no one ever that clean! [Big Grin] But someone closely related to any type of scandal or fraud weather it be Clinton,Bush,Obama, or Wu if he decided to run for president lol If anyone has a track record or involved with anyone who does they may make decisions that will jeopardize the country. Unfortunatly everyone has price at which they can be bought, some cheaper than others which sucks [Confused]

No way, would you?

1. Immediately 50% of the country hates your guts
2. You lose almost all freedom that you once had (we see Obama going through this with wanting to go to the "gym" and trying to keep his "blackberry" which the The Secret Service told him is a huge security risk)
3. $400,000 which after taxes is roughly, maybe, $225,000 a year?

Hell, I think we should pay our presidents $5,000,000 a year. Then you'd see blemish free rocket scientists, business moguls who've made fortunes and know how capitalizism works, brain surgeons who've dedicated their lives to helping others, BATTLING it out for the top spot on the planet...In other words, you'd get the cream of the crop as far as men, women, leaders and over-achievers go. Even though there have been some great, unbelievable men as president, I don't think we've ever had a genius in the White House.

Except for GW Bush of course...

Agree with you on being a genius, but book smarts alone are the absolute best asset. I've met some very intelligent people that would make terrible leaders. Many of the great leaders in history were smart, but not necessarily geniuses.

Everyone has some sort of scandal in their lives and it's pretty sad that we're so busy finger pointing we forget that there are bigger (and many times more immediate) fires to extinguish.

I hope the Dems don't become scandal-covered again....first this guy, then there's Timothy Geithner, and now Caroline Kennedy surprisingly dropping out of the senate bid.

That's why true American voters never had a good choice at the polls, both sides are corrupt.

Posted by Salvy_Mic (Member # 13384) on :

I disagree with Wrinklesguy a bit in his last post. There is corruption in all sides, but not all sides are necessarily corrupt. It may sound like semantics, but it really isn't.

Unfortunately, politics of all kind tend to do that to a good number of people. We need more idealists who can stick to their guns in the face of corruption and temptation to just grab power and wealth at the expense of someone else. I hope Barack Obama is that sort of man. Is he? Who knows, but for all our sakes, we ought to prepare for the worst, but hope for the best.

Yes, most MENSA member seem to have asberger's syndrom and won't look to others for assistance or advice.

My X is Neurosurgeon and does it because she loves it. She always made less than me - but will have a couple commas when she completes residency. Right now she makes about what a fry cook makes per hour. But has the hands of an angel.
