if the pictures i posted from the awareness ads are against regulations,is it also against regulations to link them?

i dont think the mods know who closed the post so it might have been wu and maybe they are waiting for him to reply....if the site could get in trouble for the pictures then i totally understand taking them out,it just raised the question of links,because if links are allowed i kinda wished i could have removed the tags before it was deleted ,if they arent allowed it would be good for me to know so i dont link anything that falls under that category

I hadn't noticed the post, but true enough. If Mona approached me anywhere with a question I'd be falling over myself and sputtering. [Big Grin]

To my knowledge: Since showing pics that could be considered sexually explicit is against the rules, linking to them isn't allowed either. While linking isn't exactly "showing" the pic/s per se', it is a form of "secondary distribution". As such, this site (i.e. good ol' Brother Wu) that has these links is held accountable as the secondary distributor.

If Brother Wu or another mod has a better grasp of this than I do, please chime in. But Mona, to answer your question, personally, I'd say to please avoid linking to pics you wouldn't be allowed to post. If posting a particular pics is wrong, linking to it is too, in short.

I also don`t know who deleted your post, Mona.

Wu doesn`t want any direct linking to pictures with sexually explicit material --- that`s probably the reason why it`s gone.

At first I wouldn`t have noticed it myself but both pictures actually did show "sexual intercourse" as defined by US Code 2256.
