[Big Grin] Funny stuff...but hey, even though I'm a major n00b when it comes to Nightwish I dig the hell out of their music, mispronunciations and all. [Thumbs Up]

I've been checking their official site, and it looks like they took down the "open letter" as to why Tarja Turunen got the boot. Shame that she had to get fired before I even heard of this group...the next female singer, whoever she may be, has got a seriously huge set of shoes to fill.

I'm not certain about all the drama that must've lead to Tarja's getting kicked, but that girl's got a serious set of pipes...it's going to be harder than hell to find a girl that can match her.

She basically realized she had a good voice. She skipped practices, CANCELLED concerts for no reason, and flat out said they could never replace her talent. All of that went on for a long time, so eventually they booted her. She had nothing to do with the music writing, only singing

It's always a shame when ego's get the best of people...

I noticed that on their site they link to Tarja's personal page, so at least they don't hate her after all of that.
