Every year we celebrate Guy Fawkes on the 5th of November when we light off fireworks and the sky dances for that one night... Used to be able to buy them 2weeks before with no limits on the asortment. But over the years they've been takin' things away like Firecrackers were banned in the early 90's and Bottle Rocket's were banned in the late 90's and in recent years they've only allowed it to be sold 4 days prior to the actual day..... Looking at our government, most-likely it will be totally banned next year...
What about fireworks in your country?

Within most city limits in Texas they are illegal to purchase or set off. Just across county lines though you can buy them in stands that sit on the border. On Independence Day or New Years Eve you would never be able to tell they were banned in city limits with every kid in the neighborhood shooting them off.

Well we primarily set them off on Canada Day(July 1st). Depending on the celebration and town they might set them off more...ex: New Years Eve,festivals etc. In terms of getting fireworks legally..its not hard..some speciality store sell them at a fixed price...illegal to set them off without a permit though..so go figure!
