I try to have one with family and friends every month or so. Cook mostly burgers, dogs, ribs. etc. I really want to have a crawfish boil some time this year as well, it's been a while since I've done that.
I always try to get a keg also. I also built some horse shoe pits, so it's always a blast tossing shoes around when you're buzzing.
And of course you got to have the cookouts during the races, football games as well.
I'll tell ya man, there is nothing better than having a cookout with some great people.
Man, I can't wait till football season! It's going to rock!!

My mom makes the best friggen Brisket! Oven roasted potatoes, pinto beans, Mexican Salad (basically lettuce, cheese, onions, tomatoes, beans, fritos, and catalina dressing...don't know exactly what's Mexican).
I had a cookout last year for my gaming group. Everyone donated burgers, bratwurst, buns, etc. and I cooked it up on the patio while everyone drank Fosters and continued with extreme D&D nerdery!
I figured a couple of steaks or filets on the grill will be a call to order pretty soon at my house!

Just two days ago I found myself in Home Depot with a footgal friend of mine so we could pick up some accessories for the grill, so you can bet yer butt that we'll be having some serious cookouts before too long. I can't wait! Charcoal broiled furters & burgers, that's where it's at!
