Last night we were in a chat room, and a guy told us over the mic that Mrs Wv had nice feet and congratulated us,( we have a couple of feet related pics on our profile)! This seemed to insense the other women in the room, and since they were not the object of the flattery, they started to hurl insults at the wife, although the only words we had spoke was "thank you", to the gentleman mentoned above. After most of the fat toothless inbred skanks,(their our neighbors, we can call them what they are), finished raving, we were booted completly out of the chat room and off of yahoo. We know some of you guys have experienced this, and would like some feedback as whether yahoo or msn is better?

I haven't used MSN, but I can certainly comment on Yahoo and unfortunately that's pretty much the way things are in there. The chatrooms suffer from true lack of proper moderation, and the end result are an excess of horny guys giving orders to the gals on cam, and gals who do perioducally have little issues erupting between them based on the attention they're getting. It's not really a comfortable chatting atmosphere, at least for me, so I don't tend to visit too often these days. IRC was always a much more friendly place for me because the channels were well run by friendly people (if I do say so myself), and it felt very communal when we'd all get on and share each other's company every night. Sure, there are no webcam or voice features over there, but the camaraderie more than made up for it to me. I used to chat with many of those gals both on the phone in addition to in the chatrooms, and I always had a pleasant experience. As for Yahoo/MSN, I'd approach them with a thicker skin if I approach them at all.

I've never used the MSN/Yahoo chat rooms but sometimes when I'm using Yahoo Messenger it'll log me out and then log me back in again on its own.

Actually footspy, booters will log you out. Especially if your using an offensive name to them, such as 'footspy'. If the boss booter in the room doesn't cater to your name, or profile, then your history. We was in a room the other night, and a guy talkin on the mike was called, Devilgod666; and he seemed to be the boss because all the other seemingly regulars were argreeing to whatever he said. We disagreed at one point, and were promply thrown out on our virtual ass.

I don't use footspy as my Yahoo name, I use my real name instead. I don't use chat rooms though I just IM with friends.

I haven't used MSN in months because it just doesn't work on my computer anymore for some reason. I try to log in and it just won't.

I only use yahoo for the instant messaging features and very rarely go to the chat rooms on there. If I do chat, it's on another, more obscure chat network.

You know, this is one thing I should've had on my online pet peeves list: Chat room operators/bosses who think they're God just because they operate their own chat room! I severely dislike people like this who will throw you out of a room just because you don't agree with what they think or what the majority of the people in the chat room think! I had a run-in several months ago with a chat room operator because there was a guy in this room who was telling a false sob story about his life to gain sympathy, and posted a fake picture of himself on his online profile, to get attention for himself and to get a girl. Of course, people felt sorry for him so they started to befriend him. There were a few people in the room (including myself) who were suspicious and didn't believe this clown's story or the picture he had put up on his profile and the room operator got wind of it. Instead of looking into the allegations, the room operator gave warnings to those who "didn't like the guy", just because we didn't think like the majority of the people in the chat room. The funny thing is someone who didn't believe the sap telling his sympathy story took it upon himself to do a little research and to find the picture online that he was using in his profile. Long story short, it was found out that the picture was taken from someone else's website on the internet and used in this guy's profile and he was outed. Well, instead of executing justice on the guy trying to gain some sympathy and throw him out of the chat room for lying and deceiving a whole bunch of people, the damn fool of a room operator threw out the person who outed the guy! What kind of sense does that make?! The sap was telling lies left and right, put up a false picture online, portraying himself as something that he wasn't and he got to stay! The revelation did take its toll though and the sap eventually began taking more heat for it and no one trusted him after that so he eventually left on his own. The room operator and the person who outed the sap eventually patched up their differences and all was fine after that. Still, the room operator, if he had any balls, should've checked to make sure the sap was legitimate in the first place and he never did because too many people befriended him and believed his sob story from day one. Some room operators (including the one I'm referring to) can be real assholes.

Weve seen similar stuff happen like that Fate. Sometimes the room op's are a little out of bounds in what they do, but then again, sometimes they actually help. Yahoo has cleaned up their act considerably "spelling", since all those rooms asking for child porno became noticed by the public; and they're recording all IP add's now, which we think is a good thing.
We were in a room one night, and we had on our profile that we were married and had an 8 yr old son; and some dumba** perv asked us if we could send him pics of our son naked. Since then we'ved changed our profile, and omitted that we have children. Thats why were glad Yahoo is fixing their chat rooms, especially if their doing their best to keep kids away from freak predators.
