I was just curious as to what you all think of piercings, genital, nipple, facial, surface, what is too much?

Its my belief that the amount of piercings a person has is directly related to how nutty they are.
Everything is okay if done in MODERATION. A little piercing on a chick's navel... hot hot hot as long as she's in shape with a flat stomach. As soon as she gets stretchmarks there or the belly hangs all the way over covering the zipper to her pants its time to pop that fucker out. HOT!
NOT!
A little piercing that doesn't bother me much is a single little stud a lady might have in the nostril.
Something like this makes me thing the guy is crying for attention because mommy didn't breast feed him as a baby...
This well adjusted chap that I'm sure contributes to positively to society and has a bright future ahead of him in his career field of choice. Looks like a happy guy.(note sarcasm)
Personally, not my thing. But someone that wants to go permanently disfigure themselves with the excessive shrapnel insertions and stretching out be my guest. I guess it makes them feel that they are rebelling against the squares and are being original and shocking. For me it gives me great entertainment to point my finger and gawk.

Alright, you show extreme, and then conservative, but not really a middle ground. What about...
Of course I will say that some people just don't have the face for piercings, and then it looks bad. But for having the few visible that I do, I do not think it means I am mad. Yes physical pain doesn't amount much to me, and I just think that they are very appealing. My stomach isn't completely flat and slim so of course I'm not going to go get my belly button pierced, but nipples and below the belt? Sure thing. Doesn't mean I can fit kitchen utensils through my face. Considering the time we are in, I don't think you fairly represent moderation by a single nose piercing or belly button. They have become about as harmless as an ear piercing, and doesn't really count.

I gotta go with Le Daemon on this. MODERATION! I think you have a very cute face so you don't really need all the decorations. But I understand it's just a fashion statement these days.

At one point, I had a total of 20 piercings: one in each nipple and the remainder were genital. Due to a couple of migrations (i.e. they moved as a result of pressure from clothes or the body - for whatever it's reasons - just plain rejected them), I have a few less now. Nevertheless, I had them carefully placed, graduated in size, and - I think - were very tastefully done. Very few were done for decoration, rather to enhance my partner's pleasure. I can honestly say that no woman who has met my "enhanced member" was put-off by it in the least; further, they really loved the extra sensations.
Having said all that, there is, at least for me, a line that can be crossed; where that line is drawn, is hard for me to say and, I suppose it varies with the individual. I find very few facial piercings to be attractive. On the other hand, the piercings that are more for sexual stimulation really appeal to me (have to be careful, though, as I have met my female piercing counterparts and sex can become difficult if we are incessantly disentangling from one another's jewelery).
Then again, there is piercing that is, in the end, a form of self-mutilation - a couple of LD's sample would cover that example; these I find repugnant.
Also, "moderation" is a difficult yardstick for me to use (e.g. how moderate do you want someone's inclination toward theft to be?). Just some thoughts.

As I said in a previous thread about tattoos (which I personally am not a fan of) what you get done to yourself when you are 20 or so may not be so cool in 10 or 20 years if it is a permanent fixture.
Your little stud in the lip is not really a detraction/distraction, as I see that stuff as being common now. Which of course means its really not very rebellious since everyone has it. However, perforating the pecker like old Toetapper did and filling it full of industrial ball bearings would be quite nutty in my opinion.
20 years ago a punk rocker friend of mine got his nipples pierced and used to wear bent nails through them. That was original and shocking back then. But go to any concert or step in any mall's Hot Topic and every kid is doing something like that.
One thing about Toetapper's piercing though his are not going to be seen by just anyone and is not doing it for people to gawk. Although I gotta know how that works out going through an airport metal detector.

I never said I was being rebellious, those were your words. I have them because I like the way they look. Given that the last was a pretty moderate picture, I used to have a few more than that.. I agree with the sexual enhancement piercings. I have my nipples pierced vertically and horizontally and it is just heaven. I just recently got one down there also, it's too sore to tell if it will enhance anything, but we will see. I have never encountered a guy with genital piercings (if you saw where I live you would understand why), how does that work? I have seen pictures of it, and it amazes me how things even fit.

No bigger turn off for me than a beautiful face with eyebrow,nose,cheek, or tongue piercing. But when I see nipple or clit piercings, it gets me off. Maybe because there under cover?

A very good female friend of mine got her nipples pierced about 15 years ago I'm guessing. I dunno if she still has that stuff in as she's almost 50 now. I'll have to ask her next time I see her this weekend.

It all depends on the person I guess. Personally any guy with piercings is unattractive to me. I think females look nice with them.

I haven't flown a lot over the years with these piercings (some of which are pretty large in size); the last flights I took were in '06 and there was nary a peep from the metal detectors. My guess is that since all my jewelery is medical stainless steel - which is not magnetic - that there isn't anything that the detectors can, well, detect.

I have seen people with the webs of their toes pierced. and not to mention some random surface piercings such as this one..
and for the record, now that my vertical nipple piercings are healed, I can now say Wow. Every girl should get their nipples pierced vert and horizontal.... it is a feeling beyong belief.
