Why is that considered being a softey??? I went to momma's house yesterday and had two platefuls of food for Thanksgiving lunch. We went to see the new Harry Potter movie and then when I got back to her house I had a friggen 3rd plate full of food!!!!

I think I packed on 5 pounds just smelling ham and turkey when I walked in the door! I even packed a big doggy bag of leftovers that I'm about to reheat today as soon as I send this lovely message out! [Drool]

The wife and mom-in-law tried something new this year; Instead of cooking a turkey, they just made a bunch of cornish hens. Dont get me wrong, it was great. Picture your drunk uncle spittin and snottin on the turkey while getting seconds and argueing with your sloshed aunt; And you sitting all peaceful with a clean, salava free mini turkey all to yourself. And no Im not talkin from experience! Oh, if you havent tried turkey deep fried yet, give it a whirl, it is excellent.

Enjoying home-cooked meals from mama is certainly no reason to consider yourself a wuss.

I cooked Thanksgiving dinner for my in-laws this year, but a home-cooked meal is ALWAYS better when someone else cooks it in my opinion.
