Surgery??? Don't they usually tell you to drink lots of cranberry juice and piss it out? I knew a couple of dudes that had to pass a stone just that way. Funny how something as small as a grain of sand can feel like you're pulling vine of thorns through your urethra! [Cry]

Glad to hear all systems are back to normal over there, rastra. Thankfully I haven't yet had to experience the wrath of kidney stones myself, but I've known people who have and it's apparently a bitch and a half. I prescribe plenty of rest, recuperation, and foot porn!

[Thumbs Up]

2 years ago I had a kidney stone and luckly,I didn't need the surgery,I jus had to piss through a strainer for a few days till it passed.that type of pain is somthing you never forget,it felt like somone took a hammer n belted my kidney, and left it feeling crampy, then the cramping travels down your urinary track till it passes.for 3 days I stayed in fecal position....dude,did they do "wave" surgery on it?

I meant "fetal" not "fecal" lol

Wow...sorry to hear about it. Glad you got it out and over with though.
My dad passed a kidney stone a few years ago and pissed it out. He was in pain for a while.
I hope I don't have to go through that.....I drink fruit juices pretty regularly.

Take it easy and glad you are fine!!
