Ok. so there is this girl that works the front desk at the gym i go to... ok cut right to the chase, i ask her what shes doin on the weekend.. she tells me fri she is busy but on sat she has to go to some thing for her cousins graduation but after that nothing.. she then says "you want me to give you a call?" (we had exchanged numbers a week or so ago) well actually i told her id call her sat at around 5 or 6... I was lookin foward to it cuz she seems like a nice girl and shes cute too, and i knew her already bc she went to my high school.. anyway sat comes, i call her up around 5 20.. no answer i leave a message to tell her to call me... She never calls back.. i got blown off...WTF IS UP W/ MAKIN PLANS TO CHILL W/ A FEMALE AND WHEN THE DAY COMES THEY WANNA ACT LIKE THEY FORGOT WHO YOU ARE??!!!!! . the thing that sucks even more is the fact that i always see her at the front desk goddamn it wasnt even on some one night stand shit! I seriously try to understand if something comes up like they got sick or something like that.. but wtf is that all about??!! I know they say girls play games, but is a non returned phone call part of the game??!!!!!

Getting stood up brings about some of the worst feelings for me. I'm with you all the way dude.
Do what you say, say what you mean. No matter how much the truth may hurt, I prefer honesty over BS.
Standing someone up is one of the most disrespectful actions in my opinion.

no kiddin bro... you wanna know what else sucks right now??? im sick this week!!!! SO i havent been able to go to the gym to find out what the deal was!! .. its been like 3 days counting today I actually had thought of ignoring it, bc im not that pissed about it anymore, but a friend of mine suggested that i find out what happened, . mind as well, not tryna be left in the dark.

Sometimes the stand up bullshit or not calling back is a game they like to play. Ah the mysteries of women. But maybe she has a legitimate excuse. I'd definatly ask her and find out what happened and if you can schedule something else. If she says no or you get stood up again theres plenty of fish in the sea and she aint worth your time.

Maybe she has a legit excuse, maybe she has a BS excuse. If she has a legit reason for not at least giving you the courtesy of a phone call, she shouldn't have any problem calling you sometime afterwards to explain herself.
I'm with you pedactor, I hate being left in the dark about it. Even if she gives you a lame excuse, at least you can have some peace of mind and closure about it.

First off, the situation sucks. Second, I think you might have helped bring on the illness. Stress weakeness our immune systems. My sister and I inherited our father's inability to eat when upset. I don't know if my brothers encouter it, but we do.
It is good you are not able to go to the gym because it gave you time to cool off.
I don't mean to slight you in anyway, but I'm sure your proposition to her wasn't the first. If you think about it, its not a good idea to date a person you see on a regular basis, such as at their job or your job. If things go sour, then the awkwardness begins. So in my opinion, she may have done you a favor. Also, if she got your calls, and didn't have the courtesy to return them after three days, then she really did you a favor by standing you up.
I truly enjoy seeing a pretty girl's ugly side come out. It lets me know she is not perfect, should not be put on a pedestal, and makes me feel sorry for the man who ends up with her.

well, first off lemme clarify some things despite the creativity and hilariousness of your theory (dont take offense to me laughing) getting sick had nothing to do w/ stress, for the situation really had no "stress" attatched to it.. I was pissed yes, but it wasnt like the rage of an anger management patient, the next day i was pretty cool, but still dissapointed... being sick was because of the drastic temperature cooling during that weekend triggered by allergies, which is usually the only way i get sick. 2nd, i definately see the potential fiasco in dating someone that you see regularly and honestly, that thought of me potentially dating her had crossed my mind, i wanted to play the situation by ear especially since shes goin to nyc to take a cop test, and the opportunity to chill w/ a girl who i think was cool was there so i took it. Alot of fantasy scenarios were goin through my head yes but honestly, chillin w/ her just AS FRIENDS, is firstly what i was goin for (maybe she didnt trust me but come on now, im not "that guy"..and even just to chill as friends girls b actin funny),at least b4 she would have potentially bounced to nyc for good...and yes she most likely to definately gets hit on alot bc she IS a cute but girl i can say that i unfortunately had let alot of opportunities get away from me and im really trying hard to work at that, thus i had to carpe diem otherwise i woulda kicked my ass, ya feel me?? and also, i actually called her last nite real bad timing on my part but i left a message anyway askin her what happened sat. no response yet, but hey if she doesnt call back, then fuck it its officially done, and my mind will be at peace knowing (because i tried) that she never wanted nothing to do w / me
