Wendy Carlos (or was it Walter at that time) did some interesting stuff for Kubrick's movies. I especially like the opening for "The Shining."

I don't really have a favourite Opening scene but off the top of my head I would say the Opening battle scene to STAR WARS III - Revenge Of The Sith [Thumbs Up]

That music from Clockwork Orange still creeps me out.

To add to the list, I personally think the opening of Catch me if you can is very well done, with a spoof done in The Simpsons

"A Clockwork Orange" and "Pulp Fiction" are brilliant choices, but they're not the "the" greatest.

The greatest movie opening of all time is, was and will always be the first two minutes of "Star Wars".
