I bought it for Wii yesterday only because EA sports decided not to make nhl 2009 for wii. It's the first 2k game i've ever bought. I know it had poor reviews but it's not "that" bad. I'm not big on the menu layout, it's a little cluttered and I haven't figured out how to create a player. I'm starting to get used to the controls now so i'm not bad. anyone else played this game?

I could imagine, I stay away from the ps3's and 360's because i can't grasp the controls well. The wii is a nice alternative although you trade off for graphics. 2k9 is a bit wonky on wii, i've had it freeze twice so far on me too once i beat a team and go back to the main menu. Oh well, maybe EA sports will put out 2010 for wii... Hopefully
