I've had relationships end over my 38 years, but this was the lowest manner of breaking up I've endured.
I was seeing a woman for more than a year. Things had really picked up in August to the point where I thought -- after some fits and starts -- we were on our way to something good. Suddenly, her attitude changed, going from calls and texts to short calls and then no contact.
I learned on Friday night that she was seeing someone else, having plastered the news that she had dinner with "the most fantastic guy in the world" on her FB account. Her friend's hubby confirmed it for me.
The pain is lessened, but the hollow feeling of being used and lied to remains. That she chose to use that outlet to end things is humilating.
Thoughts?

What a kick to the crotch! My thoughts are go out for some drinks with the boys and have some fun. Curse women for a day or two then move on to the next one. Sorry that happened after a year of going out.

At least you found out now instead of while being married to her. Seriously whatever happened to having the decency to tell someone to their face you're not into them anymore? I'm not just picking on the girls here plenty of guys do this too. Just get to the point. No facebook, no myspace,or twitter. No friends or friends of friends just face to face.

Disgusting behaviour. She must be a weak person to behave like that to be honest - scared to face the realities of life.
