Hi. My name is CyraEm, and I'm a comic artist who's putting together a bdsm comic. I very much want to include some foot fetish elements, but, not possessing the fetish myself, I don't think I really have a proper understanding of what makes feet so wonderful and I don't want to misrepresent the subculture. So I was hoping somebody on here could give me some tips when it comes to the artwork I have been doing, as well as what to focus on when writing scenes involving foot worship.

If you have time, I have drafts for a few of the pages posted on DeviantArt (I know, so lame, but nowhere else lets me post the explicit stuff). The one I really want to make sure I do right is this one:

Thanks in advance.

This was the only related picture of the draft for your work. Kind of makes me think of the old Bettie Page photo shoots. Which I'm assuming may have been your inspiration?

If there's a point where the focus is on feet make sure to get the foot drawn as complete as the rest of the human figure with attention to details. An Italian comic artist named Franco Saudelli does a lot of BSDM type stuff with his main focus on tied up feet and tickling in case you aren't familiar with his work. Using real life models for posing is the best way to get the human figure down. Suggest taking lots of pictures in the poses you need to reference for drawing the figures in different odd perspectives is helpful for the type of pose you are going for with the feet in the forefront of the composition.

Saudelli works from live models thus his comic work is fairly realistic.

I would suggest just browsing on the forum here in the image section and checking comments that people give to get the foot lover's perspective on what we find so fantastic about feet.

Great suggestion LD. Been a big fan of Saudelli for some time; I'm partial to his photography, though.

The details for instance, the curves especailly shown on the soles, veins shown on the arches. Also, I am looking for a good comic picture of a woman wrinkled soles with details for a tattoo can you help me! If so, write me at fwrinkledsoles@yahoo.com
