I'm driving to Rosamond this weekend for a race and would like to check out whatever this city has to offer. Anyone live there or know any good places for me to see? I'd even like to check out a good, friendly bar while I'm there to get a drink after the race.

Man that is in the boonies down there, you might find some Air Force drop outs from Edwards AFB in a little saloon with tumble weeds out front if you're lucky. You might as well head northeast to Vegas.

Funny thing is that I drove from Vegas to Rosamond this weekend. You're right, wasn't much there other than Edwards Air Force Base and Willow Springs Raceway which is why I went to Rosamond. Ran my car at that track and it was awesome. But I found out that Rosamond is a small town that took me only about 10 miles to drive through.
