Hey there fellas, I'm going to be driving across Canada in about two weeks time from PEI to Alberta. Never did it before and am wondering if you guys know a website that you can plan a route to take? And then have it show gas stations,hotels,food etc. I've tried googling but nothing really fits that description, was just hoping someone on here knows of one. [Smile]

What about using Google Earth?

Is your car up for the challenge? From Prince Edward Island to Alberta shows 4992 km since I don't know your starting and stopping cities. On Google Earth its shows you satellite views with roads and businesses along the way when you zoom in.

I was on one crazy road trip like that a long time ago back in '84 when we drove from Texas up to Canada then across coming down the east coast starting in New York and then back once we got to Georgia. It was a 5000 or so mile round trip. ALL DRIVING.

Hmmm...never even though of Google Earth man. I'll give that a shot.

I've got Day one planned no problem, 14hr drive to get to Ottawa and stay at my cousin's place. After that though not a clue. I'll frig around with GE though and see what I can do. Thanks for the heads up LD.

A sidenote, we are bringing our cat with us too, kitty litter and all in the car so yes, it'll smell like a forest inside the Mazda I'll have that many green trees floating around in the car lol [Big Grin]
