Since this the "whatever forum" I would like to profess my love for the GREATEST heavy metal band in history, so whatever! I have loved them since I was 12 and 30 years later the love is still as strong!

i loved them back in the 80's and 90's but i have to say, i haven't enjoyed much of the new music since about the Seventh Son of a Seventh Son.
i did love seeing them in concert 3 or 4 times though.

Seen them live about 8 times. First time in '86 for the Somewhere in Time tour.

i know this akin to heresy for any metal fan, but... i cant stand Black Sabbath and never could. i actually like Ozzy, but just dont like their sound. as for Priest.. yessssss! one of the best concerts i ever saw was Testament and Megadeth opening up for Priest for the Ram It Down tour. Mustaine actually encouraged us to rush the stage.. which we did.

Heh heh, me and Sammie are going to see Black Sabbath this weekend actually. Sabbath is one of my all time favorite bands. Probably more than Maiden.
