I was wondering how to make images smaller. I have some images on a forum and they are really big. How do I get them to a more normal size? Thanks.

You can download some free basic image programs on CNET, I'm sure. A lot of times if you have an Office Suite program bundle (typing, spreadsheets, etc.) there will be one application in there that can do it too. I use Photoshop, but that's a high end one that many designers use.

Haven't had to re-size down in a long time and I'm still using XP. I used "Paint" (part of the XP package that was installed) to do the job - it is an otherwise unwieldy program but it has done the job and did it fairly easily.
I spent a moment looking around for it and can't for the life of me, recall where it is. Thought it was in "Edit" or "Tools".

You can use Microsoft Paint, but the quality of the image may be compromised when it's resized.
Photoshop can also resize images, and typically keeps the quality. Of course, Photoshop is a paid program.
