Just wondering what shows people have been to lately or planning to see.
I just seen Down with opening acts Orange Goblin and King Parrot back on Saturday here in Edmonton. AMAZING show! Down is lead by former lead singer of Pantera Phil Anselmo and man, they put on one helluva show! Awesome fan interaction! I got thrown up into crowd surf and he reached out and made sure I didn't land on my head, shook his hand all the while he didn't miss a word!
King Parrot, Australian punk/screamo band, great way to kick off the night! Got everyone amped up, even caught a waterbottle with my face that lead singer threw!
Orange Goblin, great heavy band to lead up to Down taking the stage, lead singer can pack the beers away too!
Up next for me is to see Black Label Society. Opening for them is my favorite band(besides Down!) Hatebreed! And Butcher Babies is opening for them also. So pumped for this show, took a day off work for this one too! Posted by Nylon Toe Sucker (Member # 21491) on :

Went to 2 earlier this year. I seen Revamp, Sabaton, and Iced Earth. One of the best concerts I've been to. I've seen Iced Earth before, they always put on a good show. I actually took a pic of the Revamp female vocalists feet lol. The vocalist of Sabaton singled out this 10 year old kid in the front and asked him if he'd been to a concert before and wanted to make this one memorable for him and gave him his aviators. I always go to shows at The Masquerade in Atlanta because its so easy to get front row at just about every show I've been to. The other show this year was In This Moment. I don't really care for the music, but my friend wanted to go so I just tagged along. I wish I had brought my camera to this one because there were female dancers on stage barefoot! The next one will be March 5th to see Cannibal Corpse and Behemoth. I've seen both of them before but not together. Cannibal Corpse always puts on a brutal show.

Saw Def Leppard and Kiss both for the first time over the summer.

Saw a reunion show of a local Texas band named Ten Hands earlier this year. Others in D/FW may remember them. Saw a Beatles tribute band "Liverpool Legends" who put on a show down to costumes.
However, it has been a slow year for live shows for me. Last year I did see Black Sabbath, Alice Cooper and Marilyn Manson.
