The movie 'Back To The Future 2' the main characters are sent foward to the future 21st October 2015 which is in a few weeks but according to the movie, we've flying cars (hover conversions), hover boards, self tighting shoe laces, auto drying jackets..etc which I see no sign of yet [Big Grin] . (Just a side note, they're playing Back To The Future on the night 21st October at the local Cinemas for one night which I'm excited about.)

According to the movie 'Demolition Man'(1993) The characters are cryogenically frozen until the year 2032 where they are thawed and are set to run free with the 90s streetwise testosterone driven mentality into a society which is sorta prodominantly gay and posh.

In general, what do you think the future brings in the year 2032 which is about 17yrs from now.

- Playstation 7
- I think Cinemas will be obsolete
- Majority of food and products will be printed including body parts.
- Before then I'm expecting another Star Wars Trilogy which starts this December will already be complete.
- Facial recognition software will be far adavanced that just showing up to the airport will auto checkin and passports will be a card like a drivers licence and not a book.
- Terrabyte flash drives
- Petabyte Hard Drives
- Porn will be Virtual standard
- 3D 360° Movies
- Kanye finally becomes president [Tongue]
- Eminem will be still rapping at the age of 59 [Big Grin]
- Physical paper books will be phased out as E-books take over

Just some of my predictions [Smile]

Fuck, I will be 64 in 17 years... Letting that sink in.

The 3D printing will definitely have come into its own by that time as you mentioned.

Print periodicals will be a thing of the past.

Text books in schools will be replaced completely with whatever type of electronic device is developed by that time.

People are becoming more socially awkward now doing face to face interaction due to having faces always down in electronic devices will probably have devolved even farther.

Lab grown organs for transplanting. Oooh or how about having your old brain full of knowledge transplanted into a cloned body of your younger self... Maybe that's another 100 years off. Of course your younger self clone isn't probably going to take having its brain removed and replaced with the old cranky curmudgeon brain lightly.

I would even go far as to saying that DNA skin and tissue would be available to "print/produce" right on the body itself, say if your finger gets accidentally cut off, you could print a new one on immediately and fully functional within minutes.

Also you could de-and-reconstruct your entire cell make up and you will be in a younger more youthful body with the same brain, which is making me think of that movie 'In Time' where everyone's appearance ceases at the age of 25.

Now taking this de-and-reconstruct concept, you could be sent to another part of the world via digital binary transfer and be able to 'download' yourself to the other side of the world within seconds.
