On our summer journey across Western Maryland to West Virginia doing photos, Mileena and I made a stop at the Western Maryland Railroad Station. I saw it on Google Earth and thought it looked promising for some photos. I had no idea what to expect in the way of tourists, but we found the place empty upon arrival.
It was a really hot day and I decided that we should skip shooting on the water fountain out front and go up to the station itself. Thankfully, there was an awning over the waiting area to provide some protection from that sun.
I was happy to find countless benches lining the station and even running along the caboose and engines parked off to the side. We made use of a number of those benches and Mileena even got up on some of the trains. By the end of the set, those freshly lotioned feet had gotten quite dirty. Guess that's to be expected since they still run a steam engine through the station regularly.
