This week bring you two photo set updates. The next few weeks will see duel updates as I am going to go ahead and post all the remaining sets I still have from my old camera. Yes, I've been using my Canon Rebel T3i since August of 2012, but I still have about half a dozen sets left that were shot before. This week's second set is one of them.
Ryan and I made a trip to Georgetown this year to do a day of photos. I marked off a handful of potential shoot locations after looking on Google Earth, all of which I thought were unique. Well, the first spot didn't quite pan out as it was overly crowded. That's one thing that sucks about shooting in a tourist heavy area like Georgetown. That being said, we made our way to the next spot - a labyrinth along the river.
When we got to the labyrinth there was two kids wandering around inside. We let them have their fun for a few minutes and then moved in to shoot. Since it was so hot I only had Ryan stand/sit in the actual labyrinth for a handful of shots. I wasn't trying to burn her as that concrete had been baking in the sun for hours before we arrived.
The locations around the labyrinth - including a few benches, allowed for some great shots of her heavenly soles and those multi-colored toes. As usual we saw a number of people checking us out while shooting. Well, I'm sure they were checking out Ryan. Wondered if they saw me admiring those pastel colored piggies?
Abby and I took a little day trip to a historic town to do some photos at the end of summer 2012. This set was the last one we did on the day, and one that was cut short by some teenagers looking to get their smoke on in a place where the public couldn't see.
We began the set right up on the bridge. Before long those teens came by and were hanging out on the bridge and pretty much wandering around in all our shots. I had to keep moving spots and before long we were a bit away from the bridge on a bench along the path to it. We shot just over 40 photos, but I wished we had just said screw it and let those teens see me all about her Puerto Rican feet. I'm sure the loud mouth girl flirting with the two boys would have said something. Oh well, just means I have to get Abby back in front of the camera again.
