Just returned from a deployment and was looking forward to Wu's after nearly six months away.

Welcome back Robotron! Are you staying in or are you finished? A really good buddy of mine was in for 10 years and they deployed his ass to the middle east 6 times between Iraq and Afghanistan. He wasn't on combat duty, but he'd be gone sometimes 18 months on a stretch with his wife and kids at home. The grew up without him.

Screwhead, best of luck to you if that happens. Have you been deployed before or would it be your first time?

This was it for me I retire in March with 24 years. The opstempo is insane and has not slowed down really since the first Gulf War. I know many a airman, marine, sailor, and soldier that doesn't know their family. Hopefully soon we'll start pumping the brakes and getting back home. [Thumbs Up]
