So I have officially started my back piece. This is the first half of the outline done on Saturday night. It is a koi fish with waves and cherry blossoms. The other side will have another koi, more female looking, with more waves and cherry blossoms. Then I will figure out what to work into the top and down to the center. Next comes 2 sessions of color to finish this first half.

nice shots. Thanks for those. Also like the tattoo reminds me of the sublime badfish logo. and come to think of it that one on the small of your back looks kinda like the sublime heart.

Thanks...funny thing, they are one of my favorite bands but I never considered them to be inspired by the band.

They are addicting. And I want to finish my piece. I want my back covered and then I will move one to other parts...LOL
Let me be the first to say, it hurt, really bad, more in some spots then others. The last 15 minutes I wanted off that table. But the pain is well worth the result to me.

Wow, that's some serious ink and your soles look hot as ever hanging over the edge of the table too. I am sure your normally smooth and sexy soles did some serious scrunching as the artist did his thing, too.

Yes they are addicting - and sexy - I got one which signified a breakthru regarding a loss - it really helped.
On a lighter note - when a sexy lady gets one on her foot - it can spurn some awesome conversation and gotta compliment and touch it! Sexy -

There's 2 artists at the shop we go to, a girl, Rae and a guy, James. Tyler was getting his foot and ankle done by Rae while I was getting my back done by James. We gave the camera to Rae's 11 or 12 year old daughter and she took the pics for us. We were both in the chair about the same time. I just thought it best not to post all of those here. If you want to see shots from the whole trip there's a gallery in my blog, but be forewarned you will see Tyler's foot getting tattooed if you aren't careful. LOL
