Frustrated and humiliated, Jessica's foot problem has forced her into wearing a flip flop on her bad foot instead of a real shoe. In this cold she prefers wearing a real boot on her good foot. She ducks into a cafe to warm her freezing toes and when she gets on cell phone opens up to her friend with all the angst and embarrassment she feels gimping around in public in one bare foot.
