When I pitched the idea to Juliet to go down to some train tracks and walk barefoot on the rails, she was immediately game. I told her it would dirty up her soles a little bit and maybe even get them rusty. When we arrived, she immediately kicked off her shoes and did some balancing walks along the rails. With her sweaty feet coming in contact with those rails, it didn't take long for her feet to pick up some dirt and debris and turn a little orangish in the procees.
