Several people have contacted me and asked me if 6 years ago was my actual debut on the web, or if I was net doing foot pics before? Well... Yes I was online several months before that with a Canadian Wet & Messy Site. A photographer saw my little feet, and asked if I'd be interested in taking some foot shots (clean and messy). I was pretty camera shy back then and I told her that I would give it a try, but only ankledown. It was a fun session, and I was a lot more comfortable than I thought I would be. Then we did other photo sessions showing my face / feet - and getting really messy with baked beans, sauce, cream pies, crushing fruit etc... Later the photographer asked me if I wanted to do various fetish pics for her website clients. It was kind'a interesting, but for several reasons, I decided not to pursue projects with her. But since the sessions were so much fun, and I really enjoyed the foot time... I wanted to somehow keep going. I have always had a foot fetish, so I became very curious of doing more foot related activiteies / pictures. Surprisingly I did get a lot of email responses to my foot pictures, and some people even suggested that I open my own site. Clearly I had no idea how to go about it, and I spent some time on Wu's figuring out what I wanted to do. At first I thought about doing a free foot site, but I was quickly informed that, that can, and does get very expensive. After I heard some bandwidth horror stories -- I quickly gave up that idea, and turned my attention to developing a small pay site. Since I was worried about the associated hosting costs, and I didn't know a lot about the web-world... I decided to go with the BHE Community. We took several weeks to get enough content ready to post on the site. During that prep time, I was featured on a BHE site called Kim's Kastle (I miss her)... and about 6 weeks later we opened 1geniesfeet (August 11th, 2001). Since then we have certainly learned a lot, been in touch with people from all over the world, and 1GF has grown. Fortunately digital technology has improved dramatically and our quality has improved with it. I remember when vids were on 15 to 30 secs long. lol Any way, after several years, we decided to leave BHE. Fortunately we left on good terms, and we decided to do things on our own.
Several months after that through the wonderful encouragement of 1GF members, and my friend Sheer... We decided to open a blowjob, handjob and cum play site called 4cocksucking.com. Having two adult sites was very (is) exciting, but of course real life gets in the way... so both websites have had their ups and downs. It often surprises people how much time, and work actually goes into a site. People think that it is easy, and all it takes are a bunch of pics. Obviously my hubby and I do the site because we love it, and we don't have people working for us like the big sites do. Hubby is my photographer and stunt cock and I am the webmaster / model. Sometimes I wish we had some little cyber-elves helping... lol But we do the best we can. Besides the money really isn't that good after we pay the associated bills, and we couldn't afford to hire someone. But any money that we do make, we use to put back in the site, pay for bandwidth, tech stuff as needed, and sometimes a pair of new shoes or outfit. So it works out well.
I sometimes get emails asking about starting a site. I always do my best to give guidance - as I know what it is like to be just starting out. Sadly very few amateur websites are profitable - especially when you factor all the time it takes. There is no hourly wage. lol This is true especially when it is a part-time endeavor. Besides once a site becomes full time and key elements change -- they certainly aren't amateur anymore. The whole amateur / pro thing is another topic. But the most important thing to having a site is loving what you do. *smiles*
So there you go... you have my little story. I am open to questions, but you got the general timeline. So after all that rambling... I guess that all there is left to say is that we continue to appreciate all your support. We couldn't have gone this far without 'you'. The past 6 years have been amazing, and I hope to atleast make it another 4 years. A full decade online is certainly something to strive for.
